It has been one year since I met my first new MWer, CMWalker. I was at dinner with my friends, and I recognized her, and gathered the courage to go up to the then complete stranger, and say hi. Up to that point, I was one of the shyest people ever. After meeting my first MWer, I was able to gather up the courage to go to meet ups and meet new people. At that time, that's exactly what I needed. I have met so many people and made so many friends along the way. This year has been amazing for me - thanks to all the people I met on MouseWait. I had my moments when I was chewed out in the Lounge. I had my post like crazy phase. I had ALL my solo-hosted meet ups turn out to be me - the host, plus only ONE person. I have given RAKs, and won RAKs. On my solo trips, I did my wait time cycles (and found out I was doing it wrong the first 6 months -__-). I have been the newb that was welcomed, and I have welcomed the newb. Now I have friends I can say Hi to at the parks, friends I can go to the Parks with and shenans with, and people I can go outside the parks and hang out with. Thank You everyone. And I can say that although I may not see everyone often, and I may not get along/agree with everyone, everyone on MouseWait is like family. You see someone from MW outside of the parks, and it's like a brother/sisterhood. And I think that's awesome! I've known all my MW friends for a year or less, but it seems like I've known you for a long time. And I know we'll be friends forever (cue the SBTB "Friends Forever" buddy bands song)
