Summer of '89, I went for my 9th birthday. Splash Mountain had just opened and we waited three hours to ride it. The next longest I have waited was for Indy shortly after it opened. That was a little over two hours. - SneakyStella

It was the soft opening for Indie. The line started in front of the Carnation shop. My mom and I waited 6 hours. It had a lot of bugs ( stops and close) we where the last car for the rest of the day. This also happens to be my favorite memory of Disneyland with my mom who has been passed away for 9 1/2 years now. - PixiPirateMaid

I visited the summers after the openings of Splash & Indy. I waited almost 3 hrs for Splash and over 4 for Indy! (Lots of stalls on the ride). I'm not sure how I had so much patience at 12, and especially before the days of the smart phone! - MommaMel
