Ideally, I think they're meant to be viewed from Main Street and The Hub. We asked at Guest Relations once for a suggestion on a different or unique viewing area, and the CM actually suggested viewing them from the Storybook Land ride in Fantasyland. It was really fun! We went to the exit gate about an hour before the show and asked what we needed to do--they took our names and just said to come back right before the show, so we did. They loaded us in the boat and stopped it right in the middle of the ride and the fireworks went off all around us! It was so special! - Spoonful_O_Sugar

We did this last August and my 11 year old who could care less about fireworks sat there with her jaw dropped. It was magical being surrounded by the fireworks on all sides of us...it was also super loud, those with lil ones should be aware. - Linzee 516.8 #226 6:33PM

Oh ya! It was unexpected that our boat would enjoy the fireworks. They tell you ahead of time before you get in, just in case. It's an extra treat๐ - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED} 278.6 #743 6:42PM
Sitting right in front of the castle. If you get there early enough you can be right in the front. It's spectacular! See my pics from yesterday. - jillybean1021

We've actually watched them from the Main Street Station platform. That's another nice spot plus you can beat the crowds out of the park if you plan on leaving right afterwards. - Prettynpink1023

The benches are usually reserved seating, but you can stand behind them. It is an obstructed view because of the flagpole and sometimes the Christmas tree. Also, you'll miss the projections on the castle. However, it's fantastic seeing it from this perspective too. - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:36PM
Maybe we've gotten lucky but we've not had Rostand behind the benches, just right next to them. We've never done it when they're was up but a little to the left or right seems to solve the flagpole problem for us. - Prettynpink1023 276.2 #765 2:12PM
I like watching the fireworks from iasw - disneyprincess2327

This is a real good option if its a crowded night. You get a great view of the aerial fireworks. It can be loud though. - Tom 3858.0 #7 6:35PM
A unblocked view of castle on Mainstreet so far is the crowded yet best - E-Ticket
