I have a question for those of you doing the 5k. I considering doing it when I'm older but I hate running and I suck at it. Are you allowed to walk on the 5k?????

I don't run either. It was a great experience and I recommend it. I managed to get through it will all the support from the CM's, runners and my husband. - PumkinQueen99

I ran for most of the first mile. After that pretty much walked the rest right up until I saw the sign for mile marker 3. I'm not by any means a runner but you can definitely walk in the 5K. - KermitFan13

Many people were walking, there were young kids, grandparents, and all abilities of walkers/ runners/ joggers. Don't be intimidated by it being called a run. It's so much fun! - NikkiMickey
