I know quite a few of you are training for the marathon. I feel like I ran mine yesterday. After fifteen hours in airports and on planes with a two year old, JungleVIP picked me up at LAX, and said, "How 'bout Disneyland?" Of course the only answer to that question is "yes". We stayed till closing, and it was so worth it. So now I want to know: what's the most tired you've ever been at the parks, and what did you do to wake you up?

One Christmas season we were staying at the Grand and right before bedtime I got hit with the worse fever/chills/cough. It was horrible. I did not sleep at all (and i barely slept at all the night before too, tossing and turning, too excited for our visit). I thought for sure I would send the family to Storytellers for breakfast in the morning and then checkout a day early. :-( But low and behold I fell asleep around 6 am, woke up around 8 am and was almost good as new illness wise. I was still pretty tired. But I was able to make a go of it, thank goodness. We took a lot of fun pics the next 24 hours including our family pic in front of the Grand tree that we would of missed out on. For medical reasons I can't take any stimulants :-( so I guess you can say my love of family time at DL powered me through! - PrincessDuckie  588.3 #187 12:08PM
DL is like its own class of stimulants. Glad you broke through. - LittleAprilShowers  471.8 #256 6:12PM
Wed night we stayed till close, sat at the place where my brother was at a concert till 11:15, got home at 12:30, got up at 7, kids late to school, so what the heck, drove back to Disneyland. I was exhausted by 8pm! Screamin is a good way to wake up!! - GarnerPhotography  321.4 #517 6:47PM
At 50+ years old I'm always a little tired. Night trips get one Starbucks espresso and morning trips get a nice cup of kona. Also have water and stay hydrated which helps the fatigue. - Plumiegirl  3345.9 #10 10:55PM
On one trip we left for Disneyland at 6am, right after I got off work from a graveyard shift. We drove straight through, which is about an 18 hr drive. I got maybe 3 hrs broken sleep on the trip down. We arrived in Anaheim about 3 hrs before the park closed & my family insisted we go that night, so I went even though I had been up for 30+ hours at that point. It was completely worth it too. - dreaminofdisney  6.7 #8395 11:17PM
Leap day. Freezing my butt off and walking. 😁 - bluefairy  627.3 #174 1:18AM
Not the coolest story, but being there for Grad Night immediately after graduation was exhausting! Didn't leave DL until 6am, and by 4 we were all so exhausted! To keep us awake, we took a mini power nap at Pizza Port! Still had a wonderful time though. :) - GrimGrinningAmanda  318.7 #528 7:37AM
