HELP! I am so conflicted. Due to the fact that my sister has a steady teaching job our family can't go to DL in May like always. The only reasonable time is Mid/late August. I know it's summer and bound to be busy but are some schools back in session by then? Do we have any chance of low crowds? :) Either way I rather go than not :)

Late August will probably be less crowded than mid August as many kids will be going back to school around then. - aidensmama

It starts slowing down the later into August you go. Avoid Labor Day weekend (first weekend in September) as that's the DL half-marathon and one last hurrah for a lot of families. - IDVandalSkipperCM
