For those of you who live a distance away, how long is your average trip to the parks? My last was 4 days and didn't seem to be enough.

My longest was 5 full days, but we try to do 3 day trip every other month or so! - sunshinegrl  348.8 #678 8:50PM
We are 3 and a 1/2 hours away! And we are definate weekend warriors'! - ZeroLove  14.1 #8894 8:59PM
Our longest was 7 days and it was great ! But we normally spend 4 days and we are satisfied with that 😊 - eviljules  1404.0 #124 9:00PM
Mine are usually four days, but this trip it will be 5 because I'm spoiled and get to be there for my birthday! You are right though, I wonder what it would be like to live closer...I really don't think there would be a day where I DIDN'T visit the park. - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #233 9:01PM
Yay! Hope you have an awesome birthday. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:27PM
Thank you so much!πŸ˜ƒ - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #233 10:29PM
14 days! Got to make the most of it when visiting from New Zealand. - DisneylandKiwi  55.5 #4559 9:17PM
Most definitely! 14 days would be amazing. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:24PM
I'm in Sacramento. My daughter and I usually head down every other month and stay 2-3 days. And no, it is never enough!! Very jelly of the the SoCal peeps!!! - oo_de_lally  258.5 #1270 9:29PM
We for four days, I never want to leave. - GoofyMom77  904.1 #203 9:38PM
The longest was 6 days. - PrincessDaisy_FU2Rcm  341.1 #701 8:45PM
Was it enough? Dare I ask, were you ready to go home? - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 8:51PM
Lol! No I wanted to stay longer! But they don't offer 6 day tickets anymore! - PrincessDaisy_FU2Rcm  341.1 #701 9:35PM
is a 90-100 miles away considered a distance away??? :) for my case, weekends is the only time i can go to the park, so the longest one for me is during a Long Weekend (Arrive Saturday Morning - leave Monday afternoon). the regular stay will always be Saturday Morning - Sunday Afternoon - otilegna  2669.8 #48 8:56PM
It's all fair game. We have a 9 hr drive so there's two days of travel involved for us. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 8:58PM
awww, that is no bueno! well, just think about the travel time, there is gold in the end! (and the gold is Disneyland resort!) - otilegna  2669.8 #48 9:24PM
Once when I was younger we stayed there for 5 or 6 days and my parents felt that it was too long so they have gotten me use to going for 2 full days and 2 half days (the days we fly) - MandyPooh  477.9 #446 9:02PM
How far away are you? We've considered flying but thought we wouldn't save much time. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:26PM
We like flying when we can because we can get to the airport at 7 and be at the parks by opening but with driving we'd have to leave much earlier... I'm not a big morning person! For me to drive it takes about 6-7 hours depending on stops - MandyPooh  477.9 #446 11:54PM
We usually do 5 days and before they got rid of the 6 day hopper we would occasionally do that. - EdLovesAlvena  259.6 #1261 9:04PM
I think 6 would be perfect. With a rest day in between. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:25PM
I thought 4 days was great when we were there but now I'm realizing, via MW, that we missed soooo much. :( - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:14PM
Our average trip is 3 days. With being in NorCal we try to get down on long weekends. - splashmtn  176.2 #2302 9:15PM

About 7 hours north. - splashmtn  176.2 #2302 9:26PM
Not to far from us. Still a day of travel unless you're one who can drive through the night and still rock it in the parks that day. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:30PM
Probably 2/3 Days - LennaH  159.7 #2571 9:27PM

At least you're able to go often. We only make it about once a year. Hopefully more this year. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 9:42PM
We are in las Vegas so it's about 4 to 4 1/2 hours - Plutoin702  15.7 #8364 9:41PM
Slightly more than four hours. I think when I last went with my bf and his sister in July we made it there in 4hrs. Of course we left at 5am so there wasn't any traffic until we got more into the city. - KermitFan13  653.7 #306 10:14PM

We live about three hours away and try to go every month for 2 or 3 days. - DLandDan  198.4 #2009 10:12PM
My feet give out long before my desire to be there! Last two and next two trips are 3-4 days. Was there for a week last June, but just 5 days in the park. I would love to go stay for two weeks and go a few days in a row and then relax by the pool and do some shopping. Then back in the parks for a few days and repeat. That would be awesome! - MeridaFan  4243.7 #34 10:18PM
Sounds dreamy - misschurro  6361.3 #17 10:02AM
That does sound amazing! - CheshireCam  200.2 #1989 3:58PM

I'm from the Bay Area and we normally make it down a couple times a year and stay for 6-7 days. But this year do to my health issues, we haven't been since Leap Day!!! I'm going nuts! Lol. But we are on the 31 day countdown to a 7 day trip!!! WooHoo!!! And it's never long enough... Lol. - hatgal76  449.8 #489 10:28PM
We have stayed 6 days with the kids and 4 days for adult trip. - dimplesdanie  1236.9 #138 10:37PM
Once a year, my whole family (Grandma, Aunts, cousins etc) goes and we stay for 8 days. I go just about once a month, and I usually stay 3-4 days. I'm from the Bay Area. 😊 - DisneyFanZoe  1249.3 #135 10:45PM

I live in Canberra Australia and each time that we go we usually do between 3-5 days πŸ˜ƒ - aussiekate  165.8 #2482 12:31AM
I'm a 18 hour drive away, so the normal trip was for 6 days. It never seems long enough. - dreaminofdisney  7.2 #13807 1:26AM
We are 1,000 miles away. Our first trip was two days, second was four as was the third. πŸ˜ƒBut now I try to get it where we get our flight early upon arriving and can squeeze in another half day. If I scrape together enough money, it will be 4 1/2 days in April. Because of work for me and now college for Anna, two times a year is all we seem to fit in. I agree that it's not long enough. I told her we need to move closer! - PeachKay  311.1 #846 5:46AM
For the last couple of years we usualy do 11 days at the parks. - hairdog67  267.8 #1186 5:50AM

We live 3 and 1/2 hours away and when we had APs we would go for 2 days every 6 weeks. It was never long enough but it gave me my Disney fix. Now I live vicariously through pics. Someday I hope to have our passes back but until then keep posting pics please! :) - MissyluvsDisneyland  362.0 #638 7:56AM
Live in Hawaii don't get to fly out often so we go for at least 10 days with 3 or 4-day park hopper. Stay around the park; love catching the tram into DTD at night. - kianatony  14.1 #8931 8:11AM

It's about 16 driving hour away for us. We don't get there near enough for me. We usually do 5 days since they got rid of the 6 day pass. Last trip was 3 days, way to short! - neverenoughDL  5.0 #18692 11:20AM
