For those of you who live a distance away, how long is your average trip to the parks? My last was 4 days and didn't seem to be enough.

My longest was 5 full days, but we try to do 3 day trip every other month or so! - sunshinegrl  348.8 #616 8:50PM
We are 3 and a 1/2 hours away! And we are definate weekend warriors'! - ZeroLove  14.1 #7977 8:59PM
Our longest was 7 days and it was great ! But we normally spend 4 days and we are satisfied with that 😊 - eviljules  1192.1 #126 9:00PM
Mine are usually four days, but this trip it will be 5 because I'm spoiled and get to be there for my birthday! You are right though, I wonder what it would be like to live closer...I really don't think there would be a day where I DIDN'T visit the park. - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #209 9:01PM
Yay! Hope you have an awesome birthday. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:27PM
Thank you so much!πŸ˜ƒ - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #209 10:29PM
14 days! Got to make the most of it when visiting from New Zealand. - DisneylandKiwi  55.5 #4296 9:17PM
Most definitely! 14 days would be amazing. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:24PM
I'm in Sacramento. My daughter and I usually head down every other month and stay 2-3 days. And no, it is never enough!! Very jelly of the the SoCal peeps!!! - oo_de_lally  258.3 #1193 9:29PM
We for four days, I never want to leave. - GoofyMom77  648.6 #273 9:38PM
The longest was 6 days. - PrincessDaisy  307.7 #799 8:45PM
Was it enough? Dare I ask, were you ready to go home? - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 8:51PM
Lol! No I wanted to stay longer! But they don't offer 6 day tickets anymore! - PrincessDaisy  307.7 #799 9:35PM
is a 90-100 miles away considered a distance away??? :) for my case, weekends is the only time i can go to the park, so the longest one for me is during a Long Weekend (Arrive Saturday Morning - leave Monday afternoon). the regular stay will always be Saturday Morning - Sunday Afternoon - otilegna  2068.8 #62 8:56PM
It's all fair game. We have a 9 hr drive so there's two days of travel involved for us. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 8:58PM
awww, that is no bueno! well, just think about the travel time, there is gold in the end! (and the gold is Disneyland resort!) - otilegna  2068.8 #62 9:24PM
Once when I was younger we stayed there for 5 or 6 days and my parents felt that it was too long so they have gotten me use to going for 2 full days and 2 half days (the days we fly) - MandyPooh  465.4 #419 9:02PM
How far away are you? We've considered flying but thought we wouldn't save much time. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:26PM
We like flying when we can because we can get to the airport at 7 and be at the parks by opening but with driving we'd have to leave much earlier... I'm not a big morning person! For me to drive it takes about 6-7 hours depending on stops - MandyPooh  465.4 #419 11:54PM
We usually do 5 days and before they got rid of the 6 day hopper we would occasionally do that. - EdLovesAlvena  258.4 #1192 9:04PM
I think 6 would be perfect. With a rest day in between. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:25PM
I thought 4 days was great when we were there but now I'm realizing, via MW, that we missed soooo much. :( - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:14PM
Our average trip is 3 days. With being in NorCal we try to get down on long weekends. - splashmtn  164.3 #2411 9:15PM
How far north? - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:24PM
We usually stay 4 or5 days, never long enough. - dsnydreamer1955  253.1 #1237 9:23PM
About 7 hours north. - splashmtn  164.3 #2411 9:26PM
Not to far from us. Still a day of travel unless you're one who can drive through the night and still rock it in the parks that day. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:30PM
Probably 2/3 Days - LennaH  153.4 #2561 9:27PM
3.5 miles. However that takes 15 to 20 mins. - vincentchase1  672.8 #256 9:28PM
So jealous! - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:40PM
We live in Utah so we go only once every two years. We usually do 6 days in the park. - Rebecky  218.5 #1659 9:28PM
I'm in the bay area and we try usually go for 2 days, but now that we can only do weekends, it's usually a day and a half at most :/ Not nearly enough time, but we go pretty often. - ZeeAlice  618.3 #292 9:35PM
At least you're able to go often. We only make it about once a year. Hopefully more this year. - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 9:42PM
We are in las Vegas so it's about 4 to 4 1/2 hours - Plutoin702  12.6 #8523 9:41PM
Slightly more than four hours. I think when I last went with my bf and his sister in July we made it there in 4hrs. Of course we left at 5am so there wasn't any traffic until we got more into the city. - KermitFan13  653.6 #268 10:14PM
I'm from the bay area, our longest visit was 5 days! we usually just do 3 days :) - Mermaidmommy  32.9 #5258 9:42PM
We usually stay 7 days. - kskating  610.9 #295 9:43PM
1000 miles away. Trips are usually 3-5 days. I usually go every 2-4 months (at least the last year and a half) - PrincessKristin  780.8 #213 10:03PM
We live about three hours away and try to go every month for 2 or 3 days. - DLandDan  198.4 #1920 10:12PM
My feet give out long before my desire to be there! Last two and next two trips are 3-4 days. Was there for a week last June, but just 5 days in the park. I would love to go stay for two weeks and go a few days in a row and then relax by the pool and do some shopping. Then back in the parks for a few days and repeat. That would be awesome! - MeridaFan  3510.6 #33 10:18PM
Sounds dreamy - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  5186.2 #17 10:02AM
That does sound amazing! - CheshireCam  200.2 #1897 3:58PM
We live in Oregon and go for three days πŸ˜ƒ - Tinkerbellmom4  406.9 #500 10:26PM
I'm from the Bay Area and we normally make it down a couple times a year and stay for 6-7 days. But this year do to my health issues, we haven't been since Leap Day!!! I'm going nuts! Lol. But we are on the 31 day countdown to a 7 day trip!!! WooHoo!!! And it's never long enough... Lol. - hatgal76  441.2 #446 10:28PM
We have stayed 6 days with the kids and 4 days for adult trip. - dimplesdanie  1236.7 #118 10:37PM
Once a year, my whole family (Grandma, Aunts, cousins etc) goes and we stay for 8 days. I go just about once a month, and I usually stay 3-4 days. I'm from the Bay Area. 😊 - DisneyFanZoe  1177.4 #128 10:45PM
I live in melbourne australia, which is a 15 hour flight and we can purchase a 14 day pass which we use every year we go - puddy77  224.9 #1577 12:00AM
I live in Canberra Australia and each time that we go we usually do between 3-5 days πŸ˜ƒ - aussiekate  165.3 #2397 12:31AM
I'm a 18 hour drive away, so the normal trip was for 6 days. It never seems long enough. - dreaminofdisney  7.2 #12327 1:26AM
We are 1,000 miles away. Our first trip was two days, second was four as was the third. πŸ˜ƒBut now I try to get it where we get our flight early upon arriving and can squeeze in another half day. If I scrape together enough money, it will be 4 1/2 days in April. Because of work for me and now college for Anna, two times a year is all we seem to fit in. I agree that it's not long enough. I told her we need to move closer! - PeachKay  311.1 #767 5:46AM
For the last couple of years we usualy do 11 days at the parks. - hairdog67  258.6 #1187 5:50AM
We usually do four and half to five and half. But we also go between 3 and 4 times a year. - PrincessAuroraMomma  527.0 #356 6:56AM
5 days but that is when we live 5 hours away - joyful_belle131  54.3 #4340 7:53AM
We live 3 and 1/2 hours away and when we had APs we would go for 2 days every 6 weeks. It was never long enough but it gave me my Disney fix. Now I live vicariously through pics. Someday I hope to have our passes back but until then keep posting pics please! :) - MissyluvsDisneyland  362.0 #580 7:56AM
Live in Hawaii don't get to fly out often so we go for at least 10 days with 3 or 4-day park hopper. Stay around the park; love catching the tram into DTD at night. - kianatony  14.1 #8010 8:11AM
We drive 11 hours. Our last trip we flew into Long Beach and visited the park over 7 days. - Murryd  300.5 #840 8:17AM
Not to far for my family and I. 2 hours away if my husband drives and 1 1/2 if I drive. β™₯ - ILoveDL  59.9 #4184 9:22AM
Our longest time was 7 days and we live in AZ (6 hours away) Normally we spend 3 days but back in December it was 4 days so I could spend my birthday there. - MikeyMouse  93.5 #3531 9:26AM

3 days a coupla times a year, 5 hours away coming from Arizona - AZDizFanEMT  10.9 #9273 10:12AM
We go monthly and do 3 days 2 nights usually.....if we plan on extra time for that month we do 2 days 1 night....the longer the better I feel! - DumboGal70  122.8 #3039 10:13AM
4 days is about average for us. - Mouse4life  1293.1 #113 10:39AM
We come out from NM about once every 6-12 months and stay anywhere from 7-10 days - girlzstylin  227.6 #1548 10:59AM
We live about 7 1/2 hours away so we like to do a least 3 days!!! And it never seems long enough. - Pinup Princess  169.7 #2319 11:00AM
It's about 16 driving hour away for us. We don't get there near enough for me. We usually do 5 days since they got rid of the 6 day pass. Last trip was 3 days, way to short! - neverenoughDL  5.0 #16929 11:20AM
We live 18 hours away by car! When we were there two weeks ago, we were only able to stay three days. Four days is good, five days are AWESOME!! - mrstoad  256.1 #1208 11:53AM
From my doorstep in southern utah to the tram its about 6 to 6.5 hours depending on traffic! I think we have figured out 4 days is perfect if we have an annual pass if not 5 or 6 would be good. - DlandDude  513.6 #370 11:59AM

http://cchealth.org/eh/retail-food/dog-law-faq.php Β  I know folks love theiri pets but I still do not think this is sanitary Β from a food perspective. See the url for CA law. Unless they provide a designated pet area outside, dogs cannot lick the plates/utensils, who cleans up after a dog accident......No pets in at a restaurant for now (service dogs are the exception). Disney is excellent with their food cleanliness in the parks per the Public health inspections. DTD does not fare as well per Retaurarant inspection. Check the Health Care Agency for the current restaurant inspections. As a Public health nurse I always check to see who is keeping clean in their kitchens. Diners beware! - Plumiegirl  8572.4 #3 10:42AM

CROWD PREDICTIONSpring Break is winding down as Disney reduces hours this week. The MouseWait Historical Crowd Index shows mid-70s for this week which seems about right. Crowds will be lighter than last week with Friday and Sunday being the busiest days. - Admin Apr 14, 2015 12:04PM

We have always noticed that Saturdays are better than Sundays! We always come on the weekend and say we want to leave at dinner time on Sunday, but always leave by 11-12 because there are so many people. We love Saturday!! - 1Princess3Princes  372.9 #559 5:39PM
I agree. I think it has to do with most passes being blocked - PoohSizedGuy  18.5 #6923 11:53PM
I love these posts!  I do have a question/request/suggestion...is there a way to only show the 3-4 most recent posts?  It's a lot to scroll through. @@Admin - TiggersAndTinks  122.1 #3052 5:08AM
