Thank you to CM Dee for the very warm welcome as we got off the tram this morning!
Make sure to always stop by City Hall and report praise there as well! The CMs benefit from it (as im told). 😊 - Sweet_Irish_Cream

This is always a great idea. People can be very quick to report wrong-doings by CMs. Praise given to CMs by guests can do wonders for CMs that deserve it. - SergZak 3125.8 #13 12:19PM
Yes, we reported a wonderful deed by a CM this weekend and was told that the CM is actually presented with a certificate. - Prettynpink1023 276.2 #765 4:31PM
Yes, prettynpink. It is actually a huge deal for the CM. They get a really nice recognition in front of their co-CMs - MyPark 944.1 #91 10:01AM
^ this is so nice to hear! we almost always end our day in city hall giving love to an awesome cm :0) people are always too quick to give complaints and take great cm's for granted. - OhanaPhoto 1414.3 #56 10:09AM
I make it a point NEVER to report rude cast members. 1. Everyone is entitled to have a bad day. 2. I'm a teacher and I DON'T like tattle tales. 3. Why waste more energy going out of your way report someone when you're at the Happiest Place on Earth! - hueydeweyandlouie

If I complain about someone, it has to be HUGE. But I go way out of my way, all the time, to compliment awesome folks, even outside of DL. - DisneyFanZoe 1096.7 #75 9:16AM
Sometimes being nice to someone who is cranky can have a wonderful effect and just turn their whole attitude around. You just never know why someone's in a bad mood or not being nice. At the very least, it can confuse the heck out of them. LOL. - meridafan 1035.5 #83 9:23AM
I totally understand the sentiment of not wanting to report a CM who isn't exactly cheerful, BUT often it doesn't matter how many other wonderful experiences they have throughout the day, guests will often only remember that ONE bad experience. You have to remember that so many of those families are on vacation, and often have spent THOUSANDS of dollars for a magical experience. The last thing they expect is to have any kind of bad experience. It's just human nature that people are gonna focus on the one bad thing instead of all the good. That's why it's so important to Disney that they get feedback, whether good or bad, about CMs, food, service, or approval or disappointment of a show or attraction. I don't think we should ignore bad behavior just because we want to be nice. If anything we're helping to insure that ourselves and future visitors will continue to have wonderful experiences at the park. - NotNKansasAnymor

I love great tram CMs. They can offset the grumpy M&F parking lot attendants. 😄 - DisneyFanZoe

There is a Grumpy parking section?? lol - Armenda 993.6 #89 10:49AM
Apparently the whole parking structure. I've never seen a jolly parking attendant. - DisneyFanZoe 1096.7 #75 10:55AM
I've seen happy parking attendants. Sometimes they're dancing while pointing us in the right direction - dessertLOVER 45.1 #3852 11:10AM
Glad it's not just us, we just figured they just weren't happy with their job location 😬. - Linzee 516.5 #226 11:16AM
When I was there on the 6th the lady behind me accidentally drove past the aisle she was supposed to go in, and the parking attendant got waaaayy too angry with her. She was yelling, actually. To be honest I was quite shocked. Oh well.. - JRDrummer_CM 789.6 #117 12:01PM
I dunno what the problem is, but geez... 😬 - DisneyFanZoe 1096.7 #75 12:18PM
That's the truth lol
"No there always Happy too se us" :) - Fantasmic! fan1 185.0 #1808 12:20PM
Maybe they're grumpy 'cause they're stuck outside the park. That would be seriously frustrating to me! LOL. - meridafan 1035.5 #83 9:25AM
We had a great one last night....even though he scared the crap outta me :). I usually have the windows down on the way into the garage, and I'll wave hi or yell hi to the Mickey and friends attendants :) - GarnerPhotography 321.4 #516 9:56AM
Yes we get something called "oh snap" and it details what the guest has said about us as a CM and it goes on record. It can help the cm for advancement to full time or leadership positions. :) - TIdoubleGuhErCM
