OMG...Now she's filing a lawsuit against me! I can't handle this...I'm a total wreck...this could go on forever and I seriously don't know how I can deal with it and everything else!
I am so sorry you have to deal with this. Don't allow her to have this emotional control over you. You did nothing wrong. Your boss will support you. Do you have co-workers who have witnessed her behavior & yours? They'll be able to provide testimony if it comes to that. Just remember to breathe. Take it as it comes. Worry will not help. Stress will just make you ill & keep your head cloudy. Don't allow her to rent space in your head. Take a long walk, take some deep breaths, and rest on the knowledge that truth will prevail. Thank you so much for the advice. They've begun to interview may employees. I found out that the girl's husband (her "attorney" ) is texting them and asking them to lie! Shows how smart he really is. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Now take a deep breath & relax. You need to sit down NOW and write everything down with dates if possible. I know it will be hard but you need to do this while it is fresh in your mind. DO NOT let her undo all your weight loss. Be strong YOU are the better person don't Iet her take that from you. It sucks. The company's "investigation" - otherwise known as "rat out your boss for anything and everything that you don't like about her even if it has nothing to do with you" day. I can barely even look at my employees. I know that at least one has gone to the dark side (with the former employee). Hang in there, MsDizMaui. I wouldn't make an decisions right away on whether you stay or leave your job. Time can change a lot of things, and you never know how this will all play out. In the meantime, take lots of nice long baths, get a message, and try to keep your mind on more positive things. If I were there, I'd give you a big hug....and maybe take you out to a movie to give your mind a break. :0) - D55CR
