Good morning MWers. I was wondering, in your opinion what is the difference between a ride and an attraction at the parks? Does DL and DCA have both rides and attractions or just attractions. I would argue that DL has attractions and DCA has both. Curious to see what you all think.
Make a great day!
Excellent question. Rides are just one type of attraction we have at the resort. We also have live shows, movies to watch, parades, fireworks, walk thoughs, shooting galleries, etc. All are
types of attractions. All rides are attractions but not all attractions are rides. This is true in both parks. I hope this helps. - BalooTBear

All the "rides" at Disneyland are attractions. We use this term to differentiate from other parks because no other park compares with the design, imagination and artwork at DLR. Disneyland attractions tell a story with a beginning, middle and end. They are a combination of art and imagination. Add a little magic and you have a theme park, not an amusement park. - MyPark
