The family and I went to eat at Goofy's Kitchen this morning and we were so disappointed. After looking at all the glowing reviews, I expected more. For $30+ plus a head there should have been more choices. The Mickey waffles were cute but too dry to eat. The pancakes, pizza, and made-to-order omelettes were good enough, but again, not worth the money. I know you're paying for the character interactions. I still would have a appreciated a good meal. I'm glad we had a 50% off coupon and at least we can say we've had the experience. I doubt I would do it again.
I've been there a handful of times now and have never been very impressed. I'd pick 'Minnie's Breakfast in the Park' at the Plaza in of Goofys any day! It's better all around I think! And we've done each about 4-5 times now. - Sweet_Irish_Cream

The Plaza is beautiful inside and out, it's in the park, the food has always been great for us and I honestly think there are more characters and you get more interaction there too. It just has a magical edge over the rest 😉 - Sweet_Irish_Cream 2707.0 #19 9:51PM
Agree, if only they added peanut butter and jelly pizza and I would always go there - MarshaMouse 2935.8 #16 10:12PM
👆Yes!! Then it would be PERFECT! It's the only reason I get excited for GK! - Sweet_Irish_Cream 2707.0 #19 10:20PM
That place is a hit or miss, the dinner is pretty good. More $ but more meat selection and dishes. Their chicken sopes are good - MarshaMouse

oh boo. I'm a veggie. Now if they had grilled tofu . . . - AWholeNewWorld 253.8 #1001 10:02PM
1. Dinner is where it's at.
2. Where did you score a 50% off coupon?

I'm a CM. For the holidays we got a booklet with 3 park hopper tickets a 50%, 40%, and 30% off coupons, and 6 free popcorns. I actually ended up using the 50% off for 4 of us and the 40% for the other 2 of us. They added a $5 a person tip so it still ended up being $120 for 6 of us. - AWholeNewWorld 253.8 #1001 9:53PM
Also, as far as character breakfasts/brunch goes: Storytellers and Surf's Up are out faves! - cynDOLEwhip

Aww bummer. Did you let a cm know so that they may improve it? Please do 😊 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

Oh, I don't know if they'd do anything. It's my fault anyway. I thought food might be better elsewhere, but I wanted to scarf food like a piggy at the buffet. - AWholeNewWorld 253.8 #1001 9:59PM
Maybe next time it will be better. I have only had Storytellers(years ago)and thought the buffet was pretty good, decor was awesome, and the characters were adorable! - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1837.7 #43 10:04PM
Aww..we are eating there for the first time in 2 weeks for my nieces bday. Where did you get a 50% off coupon? - RCmom

I never experience a character breakfast before (i always woke up late and i feel the price is expensive for a few choices of food). I heard about the Plaza Inn BFast is good and the character exp). I will say try Goofy's Kitchen at Dinner Time, it maybe more pricey (as what Marsha said), but there are selections - otilegna

Gosh. We've been there numerous times, mostly for breakfast. A couple times for dinner and have always enjoyed
the entire experience. Sorry it didn't work out for you. I would not hesitate to go there any time myself. - meridafan

Do you have littles? There was a table next to us with 3 little girls. Cinderella came and spent a good few minutes interacting with them. That might have made it worth it for them. We had two teens who were a touch too cool. - AWholeNewWorld 253.8 #1001 10:07PM
Do they still make the creme brulee french toast? I felt the same as you until I tried that! I think I ate my $30 of that alone! - msdizmaui
