Having lunch on a beauruful day at the warf.

Ms. Idlewydle, don't take these suggestions as harsh criticism. Here in the lounge we love to see food pics. Dave is well known for showing his dinners often. However, we just ask that we see the beautiful presentation that cooks have prepared for you so it can make our mouths water and get us to go, "Hey that looks delicious, I wanna try that on our next trip." Even if its from a cafeteria type environment. I didn't get a chance to see the tasty soup that you've chosen for lunch. Seriously, don't stop posting, commenting, and interacting with the community. We really aren't bad people. 😁 Hope you enjoyed your trip. - Waites4DodgerEars  659.2 #158 10:30PM

I'm craving clam chowder now. - Alicewhoareyou  536.0 #209 10:37PM
I bet it was good.'Before' pics are what we'd like to see. Thanks! - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.5 #42 4:05PM
I've seen worse "after" shots. I didn't noticed until I read the comments. - cesium55  529.7 #216 11:34PM
Hmm. I was really excited about being here at this site and thought I read the rules pretty good. I admit to a few faux pas in my posting, i guess i am just very excited to share but every time i come back folks seem to have not much to say but scold me. I think from now on ill bypass the negitivity and just have fun. Sorry i could not seem get it right guys. Good days to all. - Idlewylde  4.2 #12582 10:01PM
Don't take it personal, I think a lot forget what it's like when you're new, I was excited too and made plenty mistakes and then I just let it go and kept on here and now I kinda know what's ok and what's not. I'm glad you shared with us. Believe me no one is scolding in a mean tone, it just sounds that way because you don't know us yet. We all truly are nice people, I hope you get to find that out yourself - MarshaMouse  2835.7 #16 10:16PM
I'm sorry that you feel the comments are negative. We are all really a great group of people and are just trying to remind you of what to post. We've all gone through the same comments. There's quite a bit of info in the rules to remember. But I suggest you stay. This really is a great community. Welcome! - MrsSchnooks  573.2 #192 10:18PM
I see no scolding. Everyone was being quite helpful and nice 😊 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.5 #42 10:21PM
People explaining to you the rules is not negativity, they are really just trying to help you not scold you. I had to go back and read the rules a few times and still find myself needing refreshers sometimes. If it upsets you too much, yes, you should not post, but if you can see the helpfulness and kindness of the above posts, just re-read the faqs, watch other's posts too and try try again. :) - secretagentangel  669.6 #154 10:07PM
Were there some comments that I missed other than these? I went and looked at your posts and didn't see any negative comments on them? - MrsSchnooks  573.2 #192 10:24PM
Neither did I - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.5 #42 10:26PM
Me too, I didn't see anything bad but maybe they were deleted. I made a ton of mistakes when I first joined, I was so excited to post. And I still make mistakes too. - secretagentangel  669.6 #154 10:27PM
I don't think they were negative, exactly. But being a newbie myself i can understand that what some feel is just a reminder may seem like scolding. Those of us who are new are just excited to add quality to the page and fit in, if you will. - CamEli  175.8 #1915 10:41PM
The user is at 4.2 and I don't think that picture is that far 'off'. Personally, I think using technology can sometimes be overwhelming to deal with when also just trying to soak in the magic of Disneyland. It's why I pretty much gave up posting pics to MW from my visits. I appreciate the poster trying to share their day with us. OP, I hope you enjoyed your meal at the pier and have a nice visit. On my last trip, I took the soup separate from the bread bowl back home driving to Sacramento and shared the Disney magic with my husband. The meal is just delicious. - MrsMears  212.1 #1452 10:39PM
@mrsmears.. I hear ya . I had to put my phone away a few times during our last trip. I wanted to stay in the moment and enjoy the magic of bring in the parks with my family . At the same time I wanted to be a good mousewaiter and input attraction times . It's a balance for sure 😊 - eviljules  281.2 #723 11:03PM
Next time I go to DL I'm thinking of not taking my camera and putting away my phone to enjoy the magic, I'll see how long I can last...lol. - VfxGenie  1353.5 #59 11:12AM
Glad you had a great lunch. But as per proper MW etiquette and per rules-faqs re posting food reviews, please refrain from posting half eaten food. Hopefully all those new to MW will read the rules and faqs regarding posting. Welcome to the Ohana. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 4:07PM
