Fun food review for parents with picky eaters! We love Carnation Cafe, but our 3 year old is a terrible eater. She has become so picky and eats very few things. Today she tried the PB&J Mickey's Painter's Palette. This was such a cute, bright, colorful meal. The bread was shaped like fish and the peanut butter and jelly were served on the side. She had so much fun making her own sandwich that when she was finished she actually WANTED to eat it!! The meal also included banana slices, grapes, carrots, celery, raisins, and apple juice for a healthy, well-balanced meal. Best if all... Mommy was allowed to fully enjoy her fried pickles! Woohoo!!

So does my little sister every disney visit she eats Mac n cheese veggies or fish. Meat she doesn't eat all at the parks sometimes at home kosher meat. This looks fun and yummy for her - mante90  6.2 #8922 3:45PM

How awesome!! This look like a light, healthy snack for adults too. :) I wouldn't mind having that if I wasn't hungry enough for a full meal. - Armenda  994.9 #89 2:02PM
What a great idea! Easy to duplicate for school lunches too! - Song  875.7 #103 2:03PM
Very cute idea, I love that they have DIY snacks. Plus, a fried pickle is never a bad thing to snack on! - Sarafina  398.8 #336 2:12PM

What a fun meal! My 7 year old would like that! (except the carrots, celery or raisins). Love the fried pickles! Yum! - meridafan  1038.5 #83 2:35PM
Yum! Looks like they made it healthier...we last ate there before the re-model and my youngest ordered (and loved) that menu item - but one of the sides was mini-marshmallows 😊 - mouseprincess  307.9 #573 2:40PM
I couldn't agree more with your post!! I have 2 very picky eaters and they both ordered this and loved it minus the carrots and celery. LOL!! - Ldgsg  19.5 #5121 2:45PM
This sounds great! Now I know where we are eating dinner. Thank you. - erinten  236.2 #1154 2:50PM
They've made it a bit different, healthier options all around which is great BUT it used to literally come on a painter's palette where your ingredients were like the "paint". Not as cool on a plate... - cynDOLEwhip  744.1 #137 3:06PM
And yuck at sugar free jam, that just means they've used fake sugars which are terrible! - cynDOLEwhip  744.1 #137 3:08PM
Thanks for the post! We have two very picky eaters and they love pb&j. - CherryTreeLane  456.5 #269 3:26PM
My son is 17 and still orders that - TeacherluvsMickey  18.0 #5284 3:32PM
This is such a cool thing. All of my kids were picky eaters. They get it from their momma. - neverenoughDL  5.0 #10483 3:59PM
My son loved it too! I had to go buy boxes of raisins so he could make his own PB& smily raisin samiches at home. My daughters only complaint was the bread falls apart. - GoofyMom77  108.9 #2925 10:33AM
That's awesome, thanks! - the7santas  19.3 #5131 11:51AM
Glad this is back! - emnldsmom  189.3 #1758 12:01PM
This was a huge favorite of ours when our kids were small. It gave us 20 minutes of peace: 10 making the sandwich, and 10 eating it. Too bad they took out all the dishes we like! - DizKahuna  136.4 #2502 12:11PM
My 4-yr old is an incredibly picky eater--she won't touch most of the foods in the parks (unless it's a sweet treat of some kind...). She absolutely LOVES the Painter's Pallate, though! Works for me, as Carnation Cafe has an awesome veggie burger for me, and chicken sandwich for my husband. 😃 - MommaMel  24.5 #4704 11:29AM
