Anyone use Priceline to get their rooms for DL?.. They have a good deal going for this weekend but the hotels (3 1/2 stars) are on the east side of the park and the other side of the 5.
The HOJo is across the street and is the official hotel of MW..
The offer a discount for MW'sers

Love the HoJo! Awesome people; great rooms; short walk to parks; all around great stay. - leafs17 61.7 #3537 8:53PM
Does hojo still have free parking? Something to consider when pricing hotels. - Twitterpated 230.9 #1224 9:55PM
Yes they still have free parking - Fantasmic! fan1 185.0 #1801 1:53AM
We've had great experiences with Priceline around DL and in other areas. Convention Center Hilton, both Holiday Inns, and Marriott Suites are a few examples of hotels we've been placed at for under $50/night. Some do charge for parking, but that charge doesn't bother us. The only one we were a little unhappy with was the Travel Lodge a few years ago, but we entered a low ball price of $30/night on a whim, not thinking we'd actually get it, lol. For that price, it was fine. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

We used priceline and booked a hotel for our last trip! thankfully i bought a refundable one because the hotel they gave us was the WORST reviews ever. So we ended up getting our money back and staying at the Desert Palms hotel! - Disneymomab

Yes! I always stay south. If you look for the express deals you'll have an idea of how low they go for 3 1/2 star and go down from there when you name your own price. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

If you stay outside walking distance of the park just use ART, Anaheim Resort Transit, to get to and from the parks. It's $4 a day per adult, $10 for three days. - MousekaNinja

And if you order your ART passes in advance you can get them at a discount and have them available at your hotel on check in. (If you are staying at an ART stop hotel) - MrsMears 212.0 #1449 2:28PM
I didn't know that part, thanks MrsMears! - MousekaNinja 328.0 #483 2:36PM
We usually use Priceline any time my mom comes to town and have never paid more than $60 a night. We have stayed at somè great hotels, too! Never a bad experience. - ladylikesdisney

Our problem with Priceline is that the room type is for 2 people and we are a family of 4 - LaPearleNoir

Usually if you call after booking you can secure the extra bed no problem - Minderella 261.6 #897 9:11PM
We've used it a couple times when the hojo was booked. Whatever you do don't go under 3 1/2 stars - Minderella

Good advice. Stay above 3 stars! Most of the places near the main gate are 3 stars, unfortunately. - Twitterpated 230.9 #1224 9:54PM
I am on a very low budget and Priceline Name your price for 2 ** is the only reason that I can visit. I do love the HoJo and they are running specials this year. - Song
