Well I'm back! I had our daughter on 12/1/12 with an emergency c-section after a normal labor. I started pushing and somehow the umbilical cord was on front of her head and was coming out first. Since I had a prolapsed cord they literally RAN me to the OR! Thank god little Élodie was ok! Recovery has been pretty rough, my muscles around my ribs were somehow torn during the ordeal and that's been the worst part. Luckily the weight is coming off thanks to breastfeeding as I haven't been cleared to exercise yet (only short walks). I've lost 26 lbs so far and only have 8 more until I'm at my prepregnancy weight but my body needs a ton of work, my hips and stomach are completely different now! Sorry this is so long! I'm really looking forward to being back in here and working with everyone to all be our best! Here's a pic of our daughter, Élodie Margot.
