I have a question... My son, who will be almost 3 when we go in June, won't have a ticket. But he will be tall enough for some rides. If we get fast passes, how will he ride with us? Thanks
That's a tall 3 year old - Philliprocks

Right? My son wasn't even tall enough for the fastpass rides when he was almost 4. - aidensmama 339.4 #446 1:48PM
Mine too. Poor Cannon, forever short. But there are some tall twos around here... - cynDOLEwhip 745.3 #138 1:49PM
We once met a family whose two year old was nearly a whole head taller than my three year old! - dessertLOVER 45.8 #3910 3:59PM

We were there a week before my daughters 3rd birthday and were able to ride all the 40" rides. - CamEli 176.1 #1950 5:50PM
Thankfully my children will never have a "too tall" problem. - AshleyLynn22

I believe you just have to explain that he is under 3.

Just let them know he isn't 3 yet and take him with you through the Fast Pass line :) - cynDOLEwhip

Thanks guys... He is VERY tall! He's half Hawaiian, and a big boy. Should I bring his birth cert just in case? - HawaiiTink

No. They will not give you a hard time and if they do they aren't doing their job right. - aidensmama 339.4 #446 1:50PM
Nope, don't risk losing it. You can bring a copy if you'd like but just arm yourself with a birth day and a kid who knows how many he is. - cynDOLEwhip 745.3 #138 1:50PM
Great! Thanks... Yes he tells everyone that asks, "My name is.... And I'm this many ✌"haha thanks again! - HawaiiTink

My son was just tall enough to go on some 40' rides at 3. No one gave us grief about no ticket purchase. The CM at BTMRR let him on, but not any other ride. Like cyndel said, it does help if he can state/show how old he is. Little ones aren't the best liars. 😃 - MousekaNinja

That is exactly why I got my son a pass when he turned three. He passed for a two year old, but just starting talking and was proud to say his age. I couldn't bring myself to tell him to lie. - dessertLOVER 45.8 #3910 3:47PM
Imagine how embarrassing it would be if someone tried to get their kid to lie and they wouldn't. 😳 - MousekaNinja 372.5 #380 4:58PM
I remember walking by the gate one time with an overgrown boy hanging out in a stroller. Then when asked his age he told the cm " My dad told me to say Im 2 and a half" I couldn't help but laugh LOL He must have been easily over 4/5 yrs old. - DisneyMe2Death 607.7 #184 6:15PM
We didn't have a problem with our almost 3 year old when we went in sept (she turned 3 in oct) - Disneymomab

My cousin has a very tall child. He was wearing pull ups and 4T as a 2 year old. When they took him to Disneyland they did encounter some grief and side eyes however he was able to ride the rides without a ticket. - EpicDio

My son was 40 in before 3...no one ever even asked us for a fastpass for him, you'll be fine! Have a great time! 😄 - MinnieMousewife
