Passport ?: I'm planning on visiting the parks next weekend (Jan 12-14) and would like to buy an AP...can I purchase today online or would it be better to do it at the parks (if there's something that has to be mailed to me before I can use it)? Thanks for any help!
When I purchased our passes I was not given an option to have them mailed. It was an e-ticket that I printed out and brought to the ticket booth. For the pic I just got the first photographer that I saw that wasn't busy. - Lelundrial

AP expiration date is one year after first day of use. Not when you buy it. You can purchase online and print out the e-ticket. Or buy it at the park. - meridafan

The advantage of buying it at the park is that you get your pass and everything is taking care off. In the mail you have to wait to get it,and either way see a photo cm to load a pic of you to the pass. the pics aren't on the pass but they do need a current one to verify you at the gate. - pikarich

You should do it at the parks. You'll add another week to your expiration date opposed to buying it today😊 - AbuNoooo

We bought our park hopers and they used the price of our park hopers as a down payment.
So I would recommend buying a one day hopper and then before the window closes get your ap passes.
That way you can avoid or pay less of a down payment!
And congrats on the passes best money I have spent this year! 😄 - ZeroLove
