Does anyone know if the Indian Chief statue in front of the Magic shop on Main St. have any special meaning?
Originally there was a tobacco shop right there. The shop is long gone but the statue is still there. Chief statues are pretty common in front of tobacco stores as they were originally used as a sign that tobacco was sold in a particular location and the tradition has stuck around. These statues in particular were used because Native Americans introduced tobacco to the settlers. - Gimmer
