How is the crowd index calculated? The wait for radiator springs racers is 210 minutes but the index says 83 ...
i commented on this a few days ago- i was told the crowd index is definately not live and someone said its only a prediction. wait times are more live because they are input by MWers. - MrMom626

You can read about it in the rules above, I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't want to copy and paste the whole thing. Also take note that the wait time hasn't been updated for 3 hours. - Linzee

None offense taken ... I have read the rules but the index just never seems to go over mid 80s anytime I have ever looked at it since joining mw. - chryschris22 64.1 #3496 2:22PM
It's the busiest time of year right now, expect to see it in the 90s later, maybe even 100. Stay tuned... - Linzee 514.9 #227 2:27PM
Crowd index is for the overall park attendance. Each attraction has it's own time listed. So 83 is how crowded the whole park is. 210 is how long the wait is for RSR itself. - Autoalice

If the wait te board at the attraction has a different time than the one on MW please feel free to update it, that's what the app is for :) - Autoalice 135.0 #2517 2:23PM
The crowd index is most likely off at the moment because there is no way it would only be at an 83. :) - aidensmama 336.3 #440 3:19PM

Your answer is better then mine 😕 - Linzee 514.9 #227 2:23PM
I feel like Ive never seen it above 86, even when the park is at capacity. I pretty much use that as the top number for my own personal calculations ;) If its 85 or above, it's crowded. - MissMolly

i saw it at 100 a few days ago- but lasted only a bit, then back to 84/85. - MrMom626 1461.7 #53 2:41PM
