#News- New Year's Eve 2012- First of all, it will be VERY VERY crowded, so please bring a lot of patience with you if you decided to come to the parks. Best recommendation: plan to be at the park all day (this includes not park-hopping). DISNEYLAND PARK: Hours: 8am-2am. Entertainment: "Fantasmic!": 9:00pm, 10:30pm, and 12:05am. Throughout the night, there will be additional entertainment on the ROA featuring dueling pianos between each showing of Fantasmic. Fireworks: the usual "Believe in Holiday Magic" at 8:30pm (notice the time change) and the NYE "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks at 12:00am. Countdown locations are: The Castle (most crowded), TLT, ROA and IASW. DCA PARK: Hours: 8am-1am. Entertainment: World of Color: 9:00pm, 10:15pm and 12:08am. For those guests wanting to see the WOC at midnight, these FPs will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at the usual FP distribution area (Just notify a CM that you want this show). Countdown locations: Paradise Pier and Mad T Party. For those who want to pick up special 2013 NYE hats and horns, you can pick those up at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree (Disneyland) and at the TOT/Paradise Pier parade gate (DCA) starting at 6:00pm (I remember last year that they ran out by 10:00pm). Special merchandise promo: "Glow with the Show" ears are buy one, get one FREE (including AP/DVC/CM discounts). If you have them, please bring them because it sounds like they are going to have something special with the ears during the midnight countdown. There will also be LE pins and Vinylamations and other NYE merchandise to purchase as well. In conclusion, please be SAFE out there and if you're joining the crowds, please bring your patience!
