Hello! I'm contemplating getting annual passes but I'm doing some homework before presenting my case to the husband! Which type of pass do you (annual pass holders) have and how many times a year do you go? Thanks so much!!

The CA passes are blocked a lot. Look at the calendars and see if you are blocked on days you would want to go on like Saturdays, holidays and the summer. This year we are all Premium. - MeridasHair 332.8 #476 5:17PM

I have the Premium. I live in San Diego and figure as long as I get there at least 5-6 times a year (which hasn't been a problem!), and considering it includes parking and discounts, it's paid for itself. I probably visit at least 1-2 times a month. - Gia

I have a premium AP and have gone 18 times (not bad considering I am from NorCal). I feel my pass has been totally worth it and I will renew it when the time comes. - PrincessLeia

I have a Premium pass and live in NV. My boyfriend and I go maybe 4 times a year with each visit being 2-3 days and some spur of the moment trips in between. It's definitely worth it for us because our passes pay for parking and we get discounts on food and merchandise with no blackout dates. - KermitFan13

I have a premium and I actually lost count of how many trips I've made this year. I think it's about 11 trips total this year, each trip being more than one day. I live about 300 miles north of DL. - Jillian

Hi, I'm also from central California and we have the premium passes we go every couple of months. With the premium pass you will have free parking and tons of discounts. You can get discounts in down town Disney as well. Best wishes and seasons greeting. - thisgirllovesdisney

Premium is the way to go if you can afford it. Before I was a passholder, I thought I would only go once or twice a year, and was always afraid I would waste the money I put into the pass. After I got my pass, I ended up going over 25 times last year without even realizing it. You tend to go more often spur of the moment when you know you can. :) - Alicewhoareyou

We live in the Central Valley, and get the cheapest passes. We try to make 2-3 trips a year for 2-3 days at a time, four fays at Christmas. We have to plan around block out days, but at least my hubby doesn't have to fight for the prime vacation days at work, and the park is not stupidly busy when we go. We always get a hotel within walking distance, so parking is not a problem either. The short answer is, whatever works for you. - LittleAprilShowers

My family of 4 all have Premium Passes. We live in NorCal and head to the parks every 4-6 weeks. We will upgrade when our passes expire even though we won't go as frequently next year. Deluxe passes don't really work for our family as school gets in the way. Good luck with your decision. - LaPearleNoir
