Technically, DL tickets are nontransferable, but in my honest opinion, occasionally sharing a ticket between family members/close friends isn't a huge deal (but perhaps it really adds up--I don't know). It's companies that are building entire businesses by buying park hoppers and "renting" them out to people that are the problem. Disney is more concerned with the transferring of tickets. This policy prevents companies or individuals from "scalping" tickets to resell to other individuals. I understand your point.
