The fiancee and are thinking of driving down from Vegas to be at Disneyland for New Years Eve...is it usually at capacity for guests? Thoughts and opinions are appreciated..mahalo!
Yes, last year it reached capacity. We arrived just after 10:30am and barely got a locker on Mainstreet. Wall to wall people, but you will still have fun. - Alicewhoareyou

Call me crazy but I like being on The Strip for NYE. I was one of the few people who didn't mind having to work until midnight on that day. It was just a great excuse to walk from PH casino into the middle of the street and watch as the fireworks went off. Afterwards, my friends and I would walk over to the cafe in Paris and have 'breakfast' while waiting for the crowds to disperse. - KermitFan13 407.2 #321 5:54PM

Anticipate crowds!!! We went last year & were too afraid to leave DL for DCA, as we didn't think we'd be able to get back in! It's still a great time though! :) - GrimGrinningAmanda

We go to Dland every year for NYE. We get there as soon as the park opens, enjoy the park then go back to the hotel to nap and eat. I suggest packing snacks, water and dressing for cold weather. We go back to the park around 6pm. The parks get very crowded and after 2pm, it's hard to get anywhere. Have lots of patience. Good luck! - DeaG

Hi! I went two NYE ago and it was crazy! I don't know if I'd do it again but glad to say I have. My fiancée and I got there at like 8AM when it opened and stayed until 12:30 at night! We were going to leave at 3PM to check-in to our hotel and tons of the cast members suggested not leaving because the park was already at capacity and it would risk us losing possibly not being able to re-enter. It was freezing but very worth it if you bundle up and arrive early! - priscilladee

Ive been to two Consecutive NYE DIsney Park celebration. Last year was the Foggy one! Yeah it was crowded at DisneyLand park so we decided to stay at DCA till countdown. Then hop to DLand. (Now that DCA re-imagineering is completed, they might be crowded too and in full capacity very quick!) - otilegna
