Dearest Mousewaiters, Hello I know it has been quite a while and I apologize from the bottom of my heart for the lateness and lack of updates on princess daisy (Rachel). It has been a very tough couple of months emotionally and mentally. So much has happened and (hasn’t happened) that has prohibited me from doing so many things. Due to lack of time, energy, cell phone and internet, getting on mousewait has been something I haven’t been able to do. I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates on princess daisy (Rachel). There were times I wanted to post things but it seemed like there was tragedy after tragedy going on around the country and it didn’t seem right to mope about our situation. Even now I write this with a heavy heart thinking of the families in sandy hook. Once again I apologize to each and every one of you for the lack of updates. As for Rachel, like I said earlier it has been a very tough couple of months, although she is improving physically it has taken a toll on her mentally. She still is unable to walk but has gained TONS of improvement in her left leg. She is getting stronger every day but emotionally and mentally drained. With the holidays coming up she has been even sadder because we usually go to DL and she was worried that she may never be able to return even though her therapists had cleared her for travel and even ride rides. HOWEVER by the grace of God and his perfect timing we were blessed with an opportunity to return to California and make it back to the park this week! It was a total surprise to her and really has lifted her spirits and turned her outlook around. She is so excited and wants to start posting again but I figure I should let all of you amazing people know what is going on first. I also must apologize again to all of you that have inquired about her and especially to all of those who have sent things. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
