So I'm coming to DL in early Jan (yes yes y'all I'm coming back!) and I -regrettably- promised my cousin if I was able to make it (budgets and schedules and whatnot) I'd ride Tower of Terror with her. Now, I've never ridden it and I've heard mixed reviews. I want your HONEST TRUTH! Is this or is this not scary!? I'm scared you guys :( I've ridden California Screamin' and I consider that intense!
its totally different that screaming. I wont do screaming but i love TOT. If you dont like drops you wont be a huge fan, but you should try it at least once! I love it and dont find it scary at all, but i can understand how some do find it scary. - Pixarprincess

I made my boyfriend ride Tower of Terror, and he will never ride it again. He won't even go on California Screamin because it has a loop! But he rode it Tower of Terror, and he was a good sport about it. It's pretty scary if you don't like drops, but it makes you more nervous than anything else. - MagicalMadMadam

For me, it was a bit intense but maybe not as much as Screamin. You do get the feeling in your tummy and for me it occured more on ToT because you drop more often. For Screamin only the take off and two big drops got me. - aidensmama

I don't like screaming but I love TOT and I'm scared of heights... I don't think it's too scary but the first time I rode it I was scared but now I've been on it a few times I love it! The first drop is scary but after that drop I think it gets better... You should give it a try at least once to see if you like it or not - lovetrustpixidust

TOT is an awesome ride and a great job is done in the build up to the ride. If you are nervous now....you will only get more nervous before the last CM does an incredible job of spooking you out. Once you get off the ride you will feel exhilarated and I'm guessing you will want to go back again. With Screamin, you see everything right in front of you. With TOT....you only hear the ride from a distance. Have a great time. - SETumbo
