Champurrado is like hot chocolate, but thick. Corn flour is added to it to give it the thickness. It's really popular during Christmas time, especially for breakfast. - LBChica

For those that are asking. Champurrado is a chocolate and cinnamon based drink kind of like hot chocolate but the consistency is thicker .. We add the corn dough that is used in Tamales to thicken it. I love it! However 2 of my 4 kids won't even try it! - HollyGolightlyPrincess

Is it a warm cinnamon drink? I remember this but pronounced "lot toe lee toe". Of course this was 35 years ago so my memory might be off. - PrincessDuckie 588.1 #187 10:05PM
