I bought this set of honey spoons on our last trip. Is anyone familiar with these? My husband opened the package the other day and each spoon has plastic wrap around it. He took that off and appears to be another layer of plastic, stuck very closely to the stick and the spoon, as you can see in this pic. Can't figure out if that is really plastic and we need to remove it or if it's an edible substance and this spoon is ready go right into a cup of hot tea as is. Of course the package does not offer any insight. Anyone know? Thanks!

Oh! I had these. I only remember one plastic wrap on them, unless they changed the way they package them from a year ago. To me, it doesn't taste like honey though. Tastes kinda fake. - Jillian  765.4 #129 2:26PM
I love these in tea! Mine only had one wrap, but it molded to the honey, so maybe that is why you think there was an additional layer. So, unless they changed it, there should only be one! Enjoy!!! - 7mouskedoodles  161.1 #2138 2:42PM
