#TIP UPDATE: If you're having problems connecting in the Park on LTE with AT&T, turn it off, and sometimes 4G will work better. However when the Parks are busy that still might not work. Your best bet is to get a Verizon device if you want good coverage at Disneyland.

How do i turn it off On iphone 5 - Hendizl  1313.1 #61 9:01PM

Settings->General->Cellular Slider to turn LTE of and off - Coaster  9149.1 #1 9:50PM
Way to go coaster! - kristian  1786.4 #43 4:20PM
Nice coaster! - MarshaMouse  2871.9 #15 8:04PM
This was helpful but the dead spots are big. The crossroad to the court house in rsr is bad for AT&T signal. In line at screaming bad, best walking the main path through DCA past the trattoria - Plumiegirl  3367.4 #10 3:14PM
This was with the 4g on LTE is hit and miss - Plumiegirl  3367.4 #10 3:15PM
agreed...and thanks for info. - MrMom626  1563.4 #51 10:27PM
Yup it has :-/ - MarshaMouse  2871.9 #15 10:07AM
What is LTE? And which phones have it. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 10:10AM
Most android phones have it and the new iPhone 5 has LTE. What admin here is referring to is ATT's HSPA+ network. They lable it as 4G on the iPhone. Verizon though has LTE or 3G (CDMA) ontheir iI phones. - RickChavez  2218.4 #29 11:13AM
On their iPhones* - RickChavez  2218.4 #29 11:14AM
I have Verizon LTE and I always have problems trying to get into the lounge on my phone while in the parks. - bigpete  265.1 #873 12:33PM
Thanks Rick - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 3:14PM
Interesting...thanks! I'll try that next time :) - MissAmericaSings  280.1 #735 2:06PM
Aww I wish I would have known this yesterday. I was having a hard time updating wait times. But now I know for our next visit, thanks for the tip! - PrincessDuckie  588.9 #187 2:18PM
Hubbies work had different phone reps in, they said Verizon kinda just threw there lte towers up, and aren't the best, and sprints will be new better towers, which is why they are slower at getting lte up. - GarnerPhotography  321.4 #519 10:54PM
Haven't had any complaints with my LTE on Verizon. Anytime I'm at the parks I have no problems. - Waites4DodgerEars  663.8 #157 9:14AM
We have sprint personally, and the tablets he's been testing are Verizon, he has no complaints, he was laughing at what the Verizon reps were saying :) - GarnerPhotography  321.4 #519 10:02PM
Verizon LTE and ATT LTE towers are a lot better than Sprints. Sprint uses 5mhz channels while both Verizon and ATt uses 10mhz. I have Sprint and not happy they went with what they did. - RickChavez  2218.4 #29 9:09AM
I have AT&T iphone4 and have a terrible time pulling up the lounge in the parks. It prevented me from doing an in park rak twice. Do I have LTE? - 7mouskedoodles  161.1 #2142 8:42AM
No only the iPhone 5 has LTE - RickChavez  2218.4 #29 9:10AM
Rick is correct - kristian  1786.4 #43 4:22PM
regular iPhone4 has 3g. - SultanPprShkr  328.7 #482 7:54PM
@RickChavez : thanks! - 7mouskedoodles  161.1 #2142 2:52PM
Yea Saturday was horrible. I tried once and didn't even bother the rest if the day. In 3 days I used almost half my data plan for the month and I was only able to look at mouse wait maybe twice a day :( hope the wifi comes soon!! - brodysmommy  243.7 #1068 4:31AM
Saturday was horrible!! All networks were having problems. I think its because it was soo busy and everyone was trying to use their phones. Lol - Armenda  994.9 #89 7:04AM
Only thing AT&T customers can do is call and complain and use the Mark the Spot app. They've improved the connection at Disneyland before, but since then it's gone backwards. I was testing a Verizon LTE connection in the Park at the same time, and it worked perfectly. - Admin 12:13PM
I have Verizon and I'm using samsung galaxy 3 and I can watch video's that people post. I have to use the web to watch. Any suggestions? - bigpete  265.1 #873 2:22PM
Opps. Can't watch. - bigpete  265.1 #873 2:22PM
Videos only work on iPhone - RickChavez  2218.4 #29 2:45PM
At least I think that's the case. I've never been able to see a video. Just hear it. - RickChavez  2218.4 #29 2:46PM
I believe my Motorola Droid X2 I was able to watch video's. - bigpete  265.1 #873 8:03PM
I have sprint and they always suck at the park :/ I can never get on MW - Pixielynn  23.3 #4799 8:24AM
I have sprint..... Hit and miss in the parks. My wife's iPhone hit....... My android miss. - NascarDave  221.2 #1347 12:42AM
I was told by a cm that Disney uses sprint for all their phones and walkies for security. They have first crack at the signals so regular sprint customers have horrible service. N - SBsnowwhite  252.1 #997 6:29AM
That makes so much sense I have the iPhone 5 with sprint and my Internet was horrible at the park - Cinderellaaa  18.8 #5189 2:18PM
I can confirm that we use Sprint for our radios and its not just security it's all radios for the resort - QueenBella  150.0 #2299 7:24AM
Actually when it's busy there's almost nothing you can do to help the AT&T connection because it is so bad. Verizon outperforms AT&T in the Park hands down. - Admin 5:36PM
Good to know. Been thinking about switching from Verizon but think we'll upgrade to Iphones to better experience MW. Thanks Admin! - MrsSchnooks  609.5 #179 5:51PM
Yeah, Saturday I tried 3G, turning off and on, LTE, .... Sometimes just changing between these seemed to help for a couple minutes. - Tom  3892.2 #7 10:22PM
I had not experienced problems since I got my iphone 5 till this weekend. - Tom  3892.2 #7 10:23PM
@Tom Sadly we are getting the Iphone 4. We can't afford the 5 but it'll be hubby's first smart phone. LOL We are old school and don't keep up much on technology. - MrsSchnooks  609.5 #179 12:11AM
Ip4 was my last phone. You will like it. It's a very good phone too. - Tom  3892.2 #7 2:04AM
Basically what I found is what Admin said. If its really bad you're just going to have a tough time getting data. - Tom  3892.2 #7 2:07AM
I remember seeing on here about switching your phone to airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, and turning airplane mode off. That it would connect your phone to the nearest tower. That was great advice, because even with the crowds this evening, I had no problems connecting to the lounge. I have Verizon with the LTE. - Waites4DodgerEars  663.8 #157 10:10PM
