Yay finally i received the books that i bought on ebay... These books are a must buy for those who are interested and fascinated with Mary Blair artwork... Too bad it is out of circulation so ou can only buy it on a third-party. I fell in love more to Mary Blair! I wish to see her murals to be back! (Hmm, i guess a vinylmation series inspired by Mary Blair?)
These are awesome, one of her things that she was known for amongst many was the golden book Disney Story books drawings...one of the two murals she did in Tomorowland is still there its just covered so I am hoping with many other tings that when Disneyland turns 60 they uncover it for other generations to see...The closet mural of hers you can still see is at USC at the Eye medical building that she did for Walt...when I go back to WDW in Jan I will make sure to take more pics of the murals in the contemp - Dave

I really hope to see her murals to be back during the 60th anniversary of Disneyland :) I even saw another pic of a mural she did on the side of tommorowland... AND YES please post a pic of her LARGE mural at the Contemporary :) - otilegna 836.1 #107 2:54PM
I didn't know they still had the murals, I'm so glad they kept them. Now I'm hoping you are right and either with the 60th or the TL makeover that's been rumored, I can finally see these in person. - Sarafina 398.5 #335 4:20PM
The Tomorrowland mural Dave is referring to is right outside Star Tours and to the right of the Star Trader - BaseballMickey_CM 2780.5 #16 4:44PM
i did some google search and i found out that the closest Mary Blair mural to us is not at USC but at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute. It was Walt Disney's gift to Doris & Jules Stein. The mural's resemblance to IASW is very visible. (as i want to post it here, but it is a googled pic... so just search "UCLA Mary Blair Mural" and you will see it) - otilegna

you can do a googled pic as long as it's history related, provides info, and/or teaches us something. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1758.7 #43 3:41PM
Ohhhh. I will do it later :) - otilegna 836.1 #107 4:09PM

I have the cinderella and alice in wonderland ones and they are really very beautiful. I didn't know there was a peter pan as well, I'll have to see if I can get a copy. I had purchased the two I have from the kitson store that used to be in DTD. - DisneyGirlAtHeart
