Hoping for some creative input: my husband and I are going to take my parents' to DL as their Xmas present. My dad has never ridden Dumbo and I would like for his first ride to also be my son's first ride on it (he'll be 7 months come Xmas). I'm just not sure how to present the idea. Since we are getting APs I was thinking of going before Xmas and taking a picture of my son on the stationary Dumbo and then adding text to the picture and framing it with something like, "Grandpa, will you please ride the real one with me?" Then having him unwrap that at the same time my mom unwraps the gift card. Do you guys think that will have a good holiday impact? Are there any better ideas? Is the stationary Dumbo still there?!
