Yes please!! They are so smelly. And really now, have you ever seen a turkey leg that big?
I also hear it's tastes a little game-y to be turkey. I think their Emu legs *gak* - AWholeNewWorld 255.3 #979 11:08PM
Bahahaha.. I tried it once and never again. It was too salty, and just blegh. We shared it and couldn't finish it cause it was just icky.. - MEHlanie_Mouse 750.4 #135 12:12AM

I would vote for the current Mexican food to be more authentic! I live in S.D. (we have some great Mexican food), & the Mexican at the parks is blah! - ShariRenee

I agree. I tried their Mexican food on my last trip and I was very dissapointed. Everything else in the parks is so good and I thought being in so cal they would have great Mexican food as well - jmotajr 6.4 #8949 5:21PM
I live in sd too. I love las cuatro milpas. - pinkmonkeys 335.3 #464 7:03PM

I would love to see more allergy free/vegan options.I would LOVE, love, love to see each place that serves food with at least one option, especially the bakeries. I feel so left out of so many great foods. - tiggertwin

haha i thought the same thing. Maybe it is a deep fried cheesesteak - Villescas8 593.5 #189 2:39PM
wth? is roll replaced with Beignet dough and the shaved rib eye meat is now catfish instead of cheese whiz they use gumbo broth. - vincentchase 646.1 #171 2:54PM
A Philly cheesesteak is southern food? Lol, I guess it just depends on perspective, though. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 439.2 #288 3:04PM

^^I know this. A friend of mine that is from SoCal took me to "The Hat" and now I am addicted to their Chili Fries and onion rings! Too bad I live all the way up in NorCaL. - PrincessLeia 263.8 #905 2:14PM

I suggest a Pepe's Finest Mexican Food Restaurant there. It's been around for quite awhile, so they must be doing something right. I believe there are 5 locations, with 2 being in OC. Their Machaca plate is simply amazing. They put chile verde on top of the rice for good measure. Yummy! π΄ - grumpypapa

I think they should turn the Boardwalk into lots of little restaurants with quality food from all over the world ie: Little Ialy/China Town but shrunken down.
Then maybe change the pier into BVS era carnival with food. - ShariRenee

How about just good food! Most of the food in the park is terrible. One thing that is easy that they could do that WDW does for snacks is have the different flavored dole whips like the orange swirl, and pineapple vanilla swirl....can also get rid of the Churros and replace them with LUMPIA!!!! - Dave
8834.8 #2 9:27PM
No, replace the turkey legs with lumpia - PinkElephants 653.5 #166 9:28PM
I tried the Portabello Sandwich at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Unfortunately the fruit cup that came with it had more flavor than the sandwich. I was surprised at how many fresh fruit carts there were though, so that was a good thing... - NotSoDapperDan 313.6 #561 10:30PM
Yes! Sad to say I barely eat at the parks except Carthay. Enough is charged for food they could up the quality! - ShariRenee 1578.2 #51 10:35PM
Orange swirl and pineapple vanilla swirl?! Oh yum!! I'd love to see that! And I agree about the lumpia. Yummy.... - DisneyFanZoe 1099.6 #75 10:41PM
Get rid of churros!? π± Blasphemy - GrimGrinningAmanda 323.8 #524 10:41PM
better seasoned and better cooked food without having to wait an hour should be possible for the quick serve places and buffe styles like Plaza inn and pizza port. The problem with it is that you have to cater to not to the masses and some simple things like too spicy, to much garlic or unknown flavors scare away most of the people who dine at the pizza ports and the plaza inns...Thats why the menus are simple - Dave 8834.8 #2 10:55PM
So Dave...in your opinion what's the best food in the parks? - Darlingwendi 682.0 #155 11:03PM
Orange swirl dole whip?! I am allergic to pinneapple so unfortunately have never had a dole whip. My vote is for this orange swirl business cause those whips look amazing!! But definitely have to keep the churros :) - TicTocCroc 233.3 #1223 11:08PM
Yes Dave: menus are so simple bland and fat filled they are tasteless. I have been eating at the parks a long time but Dave has been on here longer so get his opinion. - ShariRenee 1578.2 #51 11:13PM
yea they have those at WDW and are really good..The food has gotten a lot better than it has and IMO I have not seen anything go from good to worse. I think you can find a pretty good food item at any location but some more than others but my taste is a lot different than most...I think that the best quick serve at Disneyland is at Hungry Bear..Both the fried green tomoato sandwhich, chicken sandwhich are IMO above standards for park food and have a lot of flavor and are a decent size for the money you spend With that said they also have some decent salads, side options and quick deserts like the pie and cupcake...I think the best buffet style is the French Market and I say this because they have done a great job at changing up the menu and coming up with some great seasonal dishes that have a ton of flavor.See they can get away with it on a theming basis since its expected to have a Cajun southern flare to it and they do a decent job at it!! Best sit down at Disneyland is lunch at Blue bayou, and Cafe Orleans.. Reason I say lunch at Blue Bayou is that they have the same menu with the exception of the steak and lobster and they jack the price up by 25 percent for dinner..the food is quite good there and I have never had any issues. Same with Cafe Orleans, food has always been very good and lots of flavor but I wish they would change up their menu a tad bit and add and take away a few dishes and get more creative..its easy for me to say this since I go all the time.....Most needed for improvement..Pizza port, Stage Door cafe and TLT....with the amount of space and the way the stations are set up for Pizza port they could do a lot better on the falvor of the food and overall quality. I get that its supposed to be for kids and of a bland taste but don't have salads and pasta dishes that lack the flavor and stuff that just sits out there and tastes like rubber when you get it.if they want a better tasting lower cost pizza for them to make, do away with the overly undercooked doughy pizza and go for a thinner crust and simple ingredients but cooked right...Stage door is just a mess peroid, its supposed to be an extreem fast food but everything there is god awful unless you order the cheese sticks...same goes for TLT, they use to have a mahi mahi wrap that was ok but everything there is garbage and not worth eating its funny because TLT use to have long lines but rarely does now and you would think they could do something a little better to make those lines a little longer and make people want to go there and get a bite...I could keep going but tired - Dave 8834.8 #2 11:25PM
Thank you Dave well said! Ugh overhaul needed. Yes WDW had much better quality & flavor choices! - ShariRenee 1578.2 #51 11:31PM
Thank you...that's all such important info IMO especially for those of us who travel far and don't go often. I don't want to waste one of my meals on something that's gross. Plus I've noticed I get in a "rut" and go to the same place for the same food...and that's no fun either. - Darlingwendi 682.0 #155 11:40PM
A chipotle instead of that Mexican place on both parks!!! Oh tamales too! - JEDIminnie
