I read the Deadliest Cast Member Last night. Such a great read. My fondest memory of the Skyway was taking it during the remodel of Fantasyland in 1983 and looking down at what was to come. - ScooterMike

I remember our family used to bet on what color we would get. And my dad always picked yellow :) fun memory - QueenRobin 113.8 #2827 11:19AM
They really should bring these back. And put cages around them for the idiots that don't know they''re not supposed to jump out! - QueenRobin

Holy smokes! Is that what happened? - Philliprocks 275.5 #770 11:29AM
I don't think that happened. What it was is that peoplewould throw things and it would hit people on the head. - Gabster1 200.0 #1630 11:46AM
No I'm pretty sure a guy jumped out. It was near the end so it wasn't too bad of a jump and he was ok but he did it and sued. Then they took it out :( - brodysmommy 243.6 #1060 11:50AM
The end meaning like by the trees and not in the middle of the park where everyone could see and he had major Injuries or could have died from it - brodysmommy 243.6 #1060 11:50AM
Then maybe it should get replaced with glass pods from the future - Philliprocks 275.5 #770 12:00PM
Yep....what brodysmom said.....sad that people try to take advantage - QueenRobin 113.8 #2827 1:15PM
And I'm sure people tried to get away with other indiscretions, unfortunately. A few people make dumb choices and end up ruining it for thousands. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 435.8 #283 1:19PM
Pretty sure its what Gabster1 and dug_one said. Combined with the cost of maintenance. - Alicewhoareyou 536.0 #209 1:22PM
I looked it up. It closed because it was going to cost to much to make it accessible to wheelchairs. But a few years before they closed it a 30 year old man said he just "fell" out and then the tried to sue!! What an idiot - QueenRobin 113.8 #2827 1:58PM
Wait, wait, wait. He willingly jumped out, then sued? People are such... gah! *throws hands up in the air and walks out* - KylaShea 533.2 #214 2:02PM
I wish they would bring this back so bad! Piece of my childhood memories that I really miss! - SarahJoshDisney

I was wondering while reading The Deadliest Cast Member if this was based on one of your dates in the parks. I always sneak a peek up there. - LisaMouse7531
