I have never been able to get one of these candy canes. Do any of you have some tips? - GodOfWine

Get to the park early and head straight to Candy Palace. That is what I did last year. I received a wristband and later that day bought the best Candy Cane ever. - PrincessLeia 263.4 #885 10:04AM
Check Candy Palace later that night. I guess I've gotten lucky the last 2 years and found them before leaving the park. - PrincessTianna 83.1 #3236 11:55AM
You can call Disney candy hotline and get the week's menu at 714 781 0112 and sometimes the wristband info is available. Last year you had to line up (some get there a couple of hours before park opening)at a certain spot outside the gate, then the first 80 last year were given a wristband to buy two canes later about 2 or 3 pm, and if any were not sold, there was a line at 4pm inside the candy palace for a chance to buy one or two of any not sold. - secretagentangel

Sorry, last year it was first 60 who could buy with wristband. And last year they also did not give AP discounts with the purchase. These canes are amazing, they do sell some pre-made ones also at the candy stores, they are the same recipe but made a different day and offsite. My brother tries to get me to buy him one every week but I have to hold him to one or two each Christmas!! - secretagentangel 669.4 #154 4:37PM
I've never had one of these candy canes. Beyond being a magical Disney product, why are they worth getting in line for a wristband? - alankeno

They are hand made from scratch. Time and labor intensive process. - Coaster 9139.5 #1 10:45AM
I've never been able to get one since I've never gone to XMas Time since 2006. - keli7516

We got them last year on a day with early entry from staying at the Grand Californian. You could only buy one per wristband, not two! It was a race to get in line and many people were sprinting to get there. - NVDLfan
