They won't be as busy as Christmas time but thousands of others have the same idea as you. How about getting the kids to "earn" a Disney Day by doing extra credit and get ahead in school. My daughter is in 8th and I still take her out for one week every year so we can have a full week of DL :). She must keep her grades up all year and all her teachers have to okay it. She gets the work a week ahead of time and gets it done :). We always go Presidents weekend and then stay thru the following weekend.. It all depends on the teacher. Some teacher's actually give out the hw on a schedule so if your child can get ahead and earn the day do it. But sometimes the best time to go is right after state testing. Some classes have to do it while others don't but most stay on the scheduled for testing.
