I can never thank God enough for my children. We were heartbroken when I was told early in our marriage that I would never be able to have children. Four years later, we were blessed with our Princess. When she was just a year and a half, we were blessed again! Even though we had a tough road and I felt helpless, our prayers were answered. So to anyone that is going through rough times, whether it be personal or professional, stay positive. Sometimes it takes us a few times to find the right path. I am super thankful for my mom. Without her, I wouldn't be the dedicated student I am today. She used to sit with me and help me write my introductory paragraphs as I sobbed from frustration; now I am on the brink of heading to London to get my Masters in Shakespeare studies. I wouldn't have this amazing opportunity if it wasn't for her. I'm forever grateful for MW; I am hundreds of miles away from my home and I still have family around. I was even invited to 3 different family thanksgivings from Mwers! That's pretty freaking generous. This may seem trivial, but I'm super thankful for Dave who made my year and possible my life by taking me to a private concert with Mumford & Sons who just happen to be my most favorite band ever. I love reading everyone's stories and id love to hear more! :) It's been a hard year. Some of you know my story so I won't get into it here but at the end of the day I tell myself, "you know what, you're gonna be okay!" I'm so thankful for you guys and my two best friends I have at home! . Most importantly I'm thankful for my dad. I love that man more than anyone or anything in this world. I had a really neat moment tonight. The kids and I ran into my parents so we decided to join them at Souplantation. Normally this would not be a big deal since I see my parents often and I eat at this place all the time. But tonight it hit me that I was about to sit down and eat with my youngest who survived a serious accident when he was two and a mom who has been in remission from colon cancer for the last five years. All of a sudden my car that needs a brand new transmission 🚙💸 and my ticket 😞🚓💸 don't seem as important. I'm thankful for the ability to go great places and do great things with my kids. My kids almost lost me in the summer of 2011. I fought a hard battle and have almost won it now. We were talking about this yesterday when we visited first aid. The kids will never forget my getting so sick and yet still making time for them from a bed. I am so thankful for my amazing momma and her putting up with my daily "I am tired of living in New York!" rant. She always tries to help and reassure me that I'll be home soon. This Thanksgiving is particularly hard because I'm not going to be home, which hasn't happened before. I'm so thankful that I'll be back after 7 months in December and that I'll be in Disneyland in January! I'm also so thankful for my MW friends.
