My daughter has a cheer comp. in Anaheim on Dec 8th. we've already told them we would go to Dland. but now that I'm newly pregnant I don't think I can make it. Maybe if I was Big already....but I'm in the tired nausea part. I can hardly make it till 3 @ work (I teach). there's no way I can handle dland after the cheer comp. I feel so bad for them. At least we did that 3 day trip in early September!!!! I'll tell 'em it'll be too crowded & not fun ;) since they're not finding out about baby till Christmas morning.
I don't know you but if you want someone to be their chaperone I probably could do it. You can dm me to find out who I am and all that. I think I could handle a few preteens for a few hours while your rested plus I was cheerleader through college and after. just a thought. or you could meet up with fellow mw'ers with kiddums and they could take turns watching everyone, after you got to know any of us of course. - secretagentangel

Awwwwww you're really too sweet. My hubbie will be there though - QueenRobin 113.8 #2834 7:19PM
Oh I totally hear you!! I'm a teacher too and I remember being soooo exhausted by the end of the work day. If going to the parks is something you were really looking forward to, is a wheelchair an option for part of the time. I know you don't want to feel handicapped, but it really is exhausting by the end of the day. Do whatever you feel is best for YOU and your baby. Congrats again on your little miracle!! - RCmom

Oh....I hadn't thought of that. But my girls won't know yet that I'm prego. So that'd be hard to explain ;)

Tell them you twisted your ankle!😉 - RCmom 2590.3 #20 3:15PM
this might work well, your kids might love getting to push you around in the chair too, i remember loving pushing my grandpa around and getting to be in charge of where we went. - Pixarprincess 531.4 #215 3:21PM
You could just happen to come down with the flu too! - secretagentangel 669.6 #154 4:04PM
Congrats on your new baby! I agree with everything RCMom said! I also know how those cheer competitions can be. (I'm a coach) Just be cautious of yourself and know your limits! Good luck to your cheerleader! - AshleyLynn22

I totally remember that stage! I teach as well, and I used to go nap in my car during lunchtime because the thought of food was repellent! Take care of yourself and congrats!! - preggoprincess

I thought about napping in the car today too LoL. But I'm not in the best of neighborhoods - QueenRobin 113.8 #2834 2:53PM
That part was the worst! I'm feeling like that today, but I think it's because I'm coming down with something, and not pregnancy related. - IDVandalSkipperCM

Also, during my first trimester I didn't want to do anything but sit. I didn't go into the parks really except to work or for a couple of hours to play. It would have been more bearable if I had used a wheelchair, I'm sure! - IDVandalSkipperCM 1296.5 #63 11:43AM
Good luck with cheer and your pregnancy! I say go and enjoy the atmosphere in a wheelchair! You'll love just being there - MarshaMouse

Oh my Cheer Comp. & pregnancy!!! My daughter was Calif. All Star (just retired for college) & the competitions alone were exhausting! Get rest & just go if you feel up to it, the kids will understand! - ShariRenee

I don't know how old your daughters are, but if they're old enough maybe they can roam around on their own while you rest in the chair in main st - Philliprocks

That's a Saturday and we do DCA only if you need a chaperone for a few hours. They will have to deal with my son's autism but its all fun. - Plumiegirl

Oh, exciting! I'm sure all will be well & your secret is safe with us! - ShariRenee 1505.7 #51 8:05PM
Will Daddy be able to go? If dad can take them, you can always find a nice bench along the hub or main street to sit, and take in the atmosphere, get up and walk around in a couple of shops if you need to stretch your legs for a minute. I could seriously go in the parks all day, and never go on any attraction, I just love being there, and taking everything in, and seeing things I've missed before :) Congrats on your new baby! - GarnerPhotography
