Roy commissioned the purchase if this leg in 1957. It was financed with revenue from the relatively successful The Great Locomotive chase. The leg and foot are actually solid platinum with a synthetic skin covering. Though the leg was purchased in 1957, it wasn't added to the attraction until 2009, due to objections from Disney lawyers. - Mouse4life

Seriously though, a minute after I posted the pic, some mom jumped out of her bobsled yelling that her son's seatbelt (on the right side, which is the part that should be attached to the sled) came off in the middle of the ride.
