Well it was pioneered in the lounge by Dahulagirl as a RAK. It's in the rules as a RAK, so I'm still unclear as to why you feel the need to change it. Some things might be best left unchanged and a RAK is one. - DisneyFanZoe 1099.6 #75 5:35PM
I don't think he's trying to change it--his post says RAK/Giveaway/ARK, so I think he's just using several different terms to explain the same concept :) ARK is also used in Evan Almighty, so a lot of people might know "RAKs" as "ARKs"--the spirit of the action remains the same, though, and that's probably what's most important: We change the world "one act of random kindness at a time" 😊 - Spoonful_O_Sugar 439.1 #288 5:54PM

I like RAK because that's what Dahulagirl started in the lounge and I don't want people to forget her or what she started, the contributions she made to MW, or what an amazing person she is just because she's unable to be in the lounge right now.
