My hubby's birthday is Dec. 19th, our only child's birthday is Dec. 21st. If we go on both of their birthdays, will the crowds be too much to enjoy? Is it better for us to go a week before (around Dec. 12) or after Jan. 2nd? Thanks in advance for the advice. We LOVE Disneyland but have never gone around Christmas.

No idea on the profile pic but I would recommend waiting until after the new year to go. Holiday decor and theme is still up the first week of January and the crowds die down considerably. I used to try and take my daughter the week or so before Christmas. Her birthday is January 11. Last year we arrived on New Years Day. The crowds were much easier for us to deal with. - BlueberryCrusader

I would expect it to be crowded either way. I had the same thoughts and decided to just plan on it being crowded the entire time and just go based on when the cheapest plane tickets were. - madsdad

Not a bad idea, i will look at cheapest hotel rates. I'm leaning toward Jan 2nd, as long as Christmas is still up and no rides are closed. Looks like they aren't closing things down until the 6th so we should be ok. :) - BusyLizzy 3.1 #24925 11:27AM
