Whatever you do, DO NOT buy discounted tickets from locations advertising on craigslist or eBay. You will likely be turned away at the gates as they are cracking down. I have seen a few families turned away lately. Unfortunately Disney doesn't offer discounts on single day tickets. - IDVandalSkipperCM

Agree, it's risky and not worth the savings! - disneymomma87 163.9 #2137 11:48AM
Maybe all three of you could split the cost? - MissMolly

I'm with her๐ See how much he can afford and help make up the difference. That way you have no problems at the gate. - Waites4DodgerEars 689.1 #152 1:02PM
I'm going to state the obvious, why don't you guys pay for his ticket. I once paid for my ticket and a friends just to go for 4 hours. She didnt think it was worth it so I offered. I was so determined to go that I did it. Never regretted it one bit๐ - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

Agreed. Do NOT buy from those who "rent" tickets. Disney has been cracking down on those folks, and most are already out of business. - DizKahuna

Yea we decided to buy his ticket... My hubby thinks the whole rent a ticket is a scam and not worth it. - Zoey85

If you can't afford to help him out, then why not plan on eating at home and taking the money you would have spent on food, drinks, and other extras in the parks and put it toward his ticket? :) ๐ - Spoonful_O_Sugar
