Hello MW! My brother just returned last week from 4 months in the Middle East (Air Force). He has now decided he'd like to take his wife and 4 kids to Disneyland over Thanksgiving. Any tips on clean hotels that offer good military discounts? They are trying to stay around $100/ night and are ok with staying farther out if necessary. Thank you!

I recently stayed at the hotel across the street from Angels stadium. I can't think of the name of the hotel but I'm sure you can find it. It was $100 per night. They have a tram that takes you to the parks. I thought this would be a great hotel for a family because they have kitchens (fridge, stove, pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, sink, and

Can't help you on the rates, but probably try one of the Internet searches; Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline. I'm sure there are more. I was going to offer a hint though. If they don't want the hassle of parking at DL, most/all the Anaheim hotels use ART (Anaheim Resort Transit). The routes are online, and we found it a great way to get from Amtrack, hotel, and DL. not very expensive either. - Sugarbuzz

I will be staying at the Marriot Suites. I got a military discount for a little over 100/night. But they should look soon before everything is booked. - mousejedi

Super 8, motel 6, clarion are usually under 100 and within ten minute walking radius. - madsdad

We stay at best western Stovall they are the best for the military we stay there when we go he can get military vouchers from the base and I think they are around $89 and night. - nadiast70

Thank you to your brother! We have not been successful with a great military discount around Disneyland. We usually book thru getawaytoday and usually get $100 a night or one free with their specials. - luvmygreenarmyman
