Hi all!! I'm new to MW!! I'm planning a trip with my nephew and was wondering if anybody had some suggestions on inexpensive places to stay. I want to make it special for him! Also is Nov 18-19 a good time to visit? Thank you all so much!! I'm very excited I found you all!!! :)

Welcome to MW! I think those dates are perfect! And there are so many awesome travel sites to you can check out for a great deal. I believe last time I went with my friend she used pricelines name your price feature to book a room and we weren't disappointed with the results. (Not thrilled with the room but it could have been much worse!) aslo, the 18th is considered Mickey's birthday! So if you go that day make sure you get a picture with him! We always stay at the Anabella. It's close. You can easily walk to the parks. It's about A 5-7 minute walk to the front gate

It's more expensive during that time. I would use one of the internet sites. If you "name your own price" use Anaheim/North area & all should be in walking distance. Good luck & have a great time! - ShariRenee

I also use getawaytoday.com it has some great packages, many of which include a character breakfast experience that I'm sure your nephew will love. It is a lot cheaper if you buy your own food from a grocery store outside of the park and then rent a $7 locker to store it in during the day. Food is pretty expensive in the parks an they have great little picnic areas right by the lockers so it usually saves quite a bit of money just to buy sandwich stuff and some fruit snacks than to buy the food in the park. Also be sure to stop at "Town Hall" and get him a birthday pin, first visit pin, and whatever else applies. The cast members will tell you happy birthday or welcome each time they see you. I'd be a great way for your nephew to feel special on his bday. - Belleslibrary

I usually do a lot of search on Internet. Kayak I was able to get the Hilton for 85.00 a night. Priceline I got The Crown for 66.00 a night. Both hotels very nice. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}
