Everyone had their first meet up, and knew pretty much NO ONE. When you're a newcomer, and you go to your first meet up, it can be a little intimidating because it seems like everyone knows everyone except you - but sometimes, that's not true - many people don't know others, but are very friendly and welcoming - and that's where the friendships start. Sometimes searching for meet ups for that day would be cool.. or maybe even starting your own meet up. But it's always nice to meet MWers, and through that one (or few), you meet more, and that's how it would seem that everyone knows everyone. TIP: When you're at a meet up, don't be shy to introduce yourself to those you don't know - the whole point of meet ups is to enjoy it with Disney friends, and MAKE Disney friends - we all know that is what it's for - so the initial introduction is less awkward than it would be randomly on the street. TIP: IF you see someone who looks lost or alone at their maybe first meet up - say hi and be the one to introduce yourself - make them feel welcome, and more friendships can be made... if all else fails, just creepily DM people at random. They're posted almost daily and very fun to go to! You've probably even met some already! Just sitting on a bench on BVS I started talking to a lady next to me, asked her if she knew about MW, turns out she's got an account!(: we're everywhere and super friendly! Do a search for meet up land to see if there are any scheduled. Or schedule one. A lot of the people who meet up with others are in the park almost all the time and have made friends with other MWs over the the last few years.
