So many of us don't realize there are different fire hydrants in the parks. Here is a few I spotted. And a special thank you to all of the hard working FFs! Please give a shout out to a FF below plz!

Like Nicole, my dad has been in the fire department for my whole life. He is now the fire chief in town, and I admire all the hard work he does for the department. It's one of the largest volunteer fire departments in CA and he balances his work there with another full time job. I basically grew up in the fire house, so the profession means a lot to me! - KylaShea

I come from a family of firefighters! My mom, dad, grandpa, cousins, and uncles (one of which is the president of the firefighters union for CA) have all been firefighters. This hits close to home. Thanks for all you do, firefighters! - ladylikesdisney

The top left hydrant is known as a wet barrel hydrant; meaning that water always fills the hydrant and is available at any of the ports independently and usually only found in warmer climates. The hydrant on the right is a dry barrel in which the water is behind a valve below the frost line in colder climates. - MightyWhitey
