Alright, I'm an easy going person. I just wanted to vent just a little. Yesterday, during magic hour entry a lady was complaining to a CM. They have these new entry lanes, for 4 & 5 pay pass holders. This lineup was longer (2 times) than regular gate entry. Her question was this, why punish the people who spent more money and are staying at a Disney hotel. Showing I.D with passes, causes the lines to be slow.
What are your thoughts ?
I have no problem showing my ID. I would be more livid if someone used my pass to get to play in the parks! - tiggertwin

I agree with this as well. - Lelundrial 341.0 #427 7:53AM
its a test and there alot of fraud with this kind of ticket hence the reason to this. it is sad because of this 4 turnstiles are removed from general entrances and causing in my opion the lines to crawl either way you get in. - pikarich

Not everyone that purchased 4 and 5 day hoppers are staying at a Disney hotel. It is sad that it had to come to this, but something needed to be done to cut down on ticket fraud. Since this is just a test, hopefully they will figure something out that makes the lines move a bit faster. It only takes one person to break the rules and ruin it for all of us😠 - PoppinsWoo

I'm going to use your post to vent too. White Water Snacks is our favorite place to eat breakfast. We always eat outside to let the kids play. Yesterday, while we were eating, the line to get into DCA completely filled the outdoor eating area. This has never happened before. I hope they move it. - Mouse4life

There was a big story on the news a while back that "companies" buy 4 and 5 day park hoppers and then "rent" them out to people. So to prevent that Disney makes you sign your ticket and then show ID at every entrance. - ambermarie

Yes indeed. Theres onee company right behind the parkings structure. Its sad that they are so close to the parks yet they are "beating" the system. - ScarfGirl 551.6 #199 8:11AM
Is this really any different than those who wait in line for five minutes and then decide to start digging around for their passes when they get to the turnstile? I don't mind the wait but really people should have their passes and photo IDs at the ready if their multi-day pass is signed. In my opinion its just like using a credit card. Why would you not show your ID to prove that you are the authorized user? It's always better to be safe than sorry because I wouldn't want somebody using my card without my knowledge or approval. - KermitFan13

I am so glad they are cracking down on these thieves! Yesterday the shortest line was the one for the 4/5 day passes. When I tried to use it the CM asked me if I had a 4/5 day pass. I told her (with a smile) no. I have a 365 day pass, and moved to another line :) - VeloMouseGirl
