#FYI- UPDATED! During the next couple days, Disneyland Park will have the privilege to host a live film shoot for the feature film "Saving Mr. Banks". For those visiting the park on November 6-7, should expect some changes to abide to the film shoot schedule. Main Street USA, Fantasyland and parts of Tomorrowland may be closed during the filming. This film shoot is a "closed set", meaning viewing for guests will not be permitted. Due to the setting of the film, guests may see things that are considered "retro Disneyland" to the 1960s. Theses things are for the film only and will not be available outside of the shoot. Also to abide to the live shoot, guests may be re-routed around the filming areas and once all of the filming has concluded, the lands will open back up like normal. Mickey's Soundsational Parade is still scheduled to perform at 7pm, starting at ISAW. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a CM. ~For those who don't know, "Saving Mr. Banks" is a film about Walt Disney acquiring the rights, from author PL Travelers, for the film "Mary Poppins". This film will be set in the 1960s when Walt was alive and still active in his park as well as his films. This will be the first time Walt Disney has been portrayed on the big screen, which is being played by Tom Hanks. This film is expected to be in theaters December 2013.~ Update: Tomorrow, filming will take place near the entrance of Disneyland Park, so be prepared to be re-routed into the park once you enter.
