Taking my 2 year old daughter to disneyland for her first time next week. Its been 10 years since I've been. Any suggestions on what is must do or see for her. Want to create an experience that will make her want to come back every year.

It all depends on what she's familiar with and what are her favorite characters are. I would do those first. Lots of pix with her favorite characters and you in them. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 10:01AM
The Disney Jr. show in DCA is a must for little ones. They can dance and jump around interacting with the show. My 4 year old loves it. Take your time and just let her take it all in. Hang out on the benches and what for the characters to come out by the Mad Hatter store on Main Street. My son likes to guess who will come out next and then we run over to take a picture with them...so much fun! Peter Pan's ride is also a favorite :) - goofymom2boys  398.1 #336 10:14AM
My 2 yr old LOVES the little mermaid :) The disney jr show was fun for her, and she loves POTC, HM, pretty much everything she's tall enough for, she will go on. my favorite part was when she met Minnie for the first time. Worth every penny of our entire trip (before we had ap's) - GarnerPhotography  321.4 #516 9:56AM
Also at DCA Bug's Land is catered towards little ones and Toon Town too! Have a great time and lots of pics! - ShariRenee  1505.7 #51 10:07AM
Don't forget her first time button. have a wonderful time! - mini_MINNIE  401.8 #329 10:15AM
My little one ended up with 5 different buttons and they were favorite thing she got the whole trip. (She loved being at Flo's and getting 3 from a CM she made friends with) - MrsGrumpy2002  190.9 #1738 10:51AM
How does she get the different buttons. I would love for her to have them as a reminder of her 1st trip. - Baaa  3.1 #25227 11:53AM
Thank you for all your input. Ive never been so excited for a trip in my life. Sounds like we are instore for a time of our lives. All she talks about is going to see Minnie!!! - Baaa  3.1 #25227 10:33AM
I see a trip to Minnie's House in your future! - goofymom2boys  398.1 #336 10:46AM
I just recently took my 2yr old and we so much fun! Remember to take it slow. Liv didn't care to much for JC myabe a bit over whelming for her. If your little one lovesMinnie then I suggest the character breakfast at the Plaza. This way you arnt waiting in a long line and Minnie was the first one we saw!! Its pricey and food is ok but it was worth it!!! I think for my hubby and I it came out to $43 with discount but I might be wrong. Again, take it slow it can be crazy for someone that young. Nap time!!! - MrsGrumpy2002  190.9 #1738 10:46AM
How late are you staying? First trip with my son was when he was 2. Took him to the Disney Jr show at DCA. He enjoyed that. I also let him watch the xmas parade. I wish I had a picture of his face during that parade. The only pics of him with characters that I remember are from Goofy's Kitchen. - Lelundrial  341.0 #428 11:04AM
We are going to try and power through and stay for the parade. We are going for 4 days so I think taking it slow is good advice. I can't wait to see her face when she sees Minnie - Baaa  3.1 #25227 11:48AM
Ah that is perfect. That trip was just for the full day, and I wanted to stay for at least one more day. - Lelundrial  341.0 #428 12:14PM
How do I get my daughter different buttons. I want her to have keepsakes from her 1st trip - Baaa  3.1 #25227 12:16PM
Stop by City Hall for 1st visit button. If at Disney hotel they have it too. - ShariRenee  1505.7 #51 12:27PM
Ask CMs nicely. The best place to get them are City Hall or Chamber of Commerce - BaseballMickey_CM  2849.5 #15 12:29PM
^^ This. :-) - mini_MINNIE   401.8 #329 5:02PM
We got two at city hall(1st visit and celebrating) and one from breakfast and a few from a CM at Flo's (she was flirting with him Lol) she was really proud of all of her buttons! - MrsGrumpy2002  190.9 #1738 10:46PM
If she can make it later make sure you see World of Color-my little one was amazed! Peter Pan is always a hit with little ones. - missyandpaul  255.7 #949 1:40AM
I would first go to City Hall for '1st visit' button. Oh!! Cant forget to buy minnie ears or anything she desires. It is a must to show her haunted mansion and peter pan 😊 dont forget the tea cups and dumbo 😄 and also take pictures with many characters! You can find Ariel on the right side of the castle. Most importantly just enjoy your trip and create enjoyable memories with your daughter. I wish you the best 😊 bring the inner kid in you as well. - bri182  148.3 #2315 2:35AM
