I heard a cm telling a girl in front of me to not use Mousewait cause the wait times were inaccurate. She told her to use the disney app. After we left I corrected the girl and told her Mw times are accurate because they are updated by actual mousewaiters. She saw my pin and said "thanks ill keep using it" . Phew!!! - PrinceTeaJack

Nice recovery there - Villescas8 592.9 #189 9:35AM
Maybe you could back that up by posting more wait times. I notice only 6.6 of your points are from wait times ;-) - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 9:51AM
I don't update much when I'm with my kids cause I'd rather pay attention to them. When I come solo I try to when I remember. - PrinceTeaJack 804.2 #120 9:54AM
I hardly ever do wait times either...it's really hard with kids. Lexi and Brad get really annoyed also. They were becoming anti MW, because they were always waiting for me. - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 10:04AM
If I live 1000 miles away and can enter wait times when I'm there, those of you who live close and go more often can, too. You don't have to do it all day every day. Just try to do a few as you're walking by. Every little bit helps! - PrincessKristin 776.9 #125 10:09AM
I always make sure I do a few, I think we all do. Only doing a few each time, the points don't accumulate very fast and then we look like slackers. Which is not really the case. - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 10:12AM
You're there plenty with no kids. I can do 6.6 in 1/2 a day and you can move faster than me! If you're taking time to post a pic you can post a wait time. - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 10:13AM
Sue do I pass your MW time test? - Villescas8 592.9 #189 10:14AM
I am actually not there very often without kids. Maybe I need a wait time class?!? - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 10:29AM
(Whisper) I wasn't talking to you Stacy. Lol. And V8 , you are always there with family but I guess you Could step it up. ;-)😜😘 - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 10:35AM
I've been posting all weekend, my contrubution to thank MW! - ShariRenee 1577.0 #51 10:43AM
I try, I haven't been there in like a month, hopefully this week - Villescas8 592.9 #189 10:45AM
I dont think its really anyones place to tell someone else they need to enter more wait times. Alot of parents who get the luxury of going without our small children are grateful for the breaks we get. We all try and do our best, but Disneyland is the place most of us go to destress, and entering wait times, is not always a priority. I think we can encourage people to try and enter a few wait times while they are in the parks, but calling people out due to thier lack of wait times can be considered not very nice and may have a negative effect on new users, wanting to join the community. - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 10:55AM
I think the point is that his comment was about a cm commenting on the accuracy of wait times. Just a little reminder that if we all try to enter even just a few when we can, it can only improve the app. And MrStrawberry always has his kids, and he has over 1000 wait time points. - PrincessKristin 776.9 #125 11:02AM
At the same time, when we encourage people to post wait times as much as possible it's to help admin and the app, since that is the main purpose. I don't think it's calling people out as much as trying to prevent exactly what teajack is talking about. - madsdad 1269.1 #65 11:04AM
On my next trip I'll have a new phone that I can post wait times finally and I'm actually excited to finally be able to contribute to that aspect of mw. - madsdad 1269.1 #65 11:06AM
I agree that we can ENCOURAGE people, but not saying that you don't enter enough, I think can be considered negative and not really what this is all about. We all do what we can do, including letting people know that MW is a great app, which is exactly what TJ did! - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 11:10AM
@Madsdad - me too! Just got an iphone and dumping this old crackberry tomorrow. - Alicewhoareyou 543.9 #213 11:12AM
Omg Alice! Me too and the last time I was there I could actually enter some wait times ;) - PinkElephants 652.8 #166 11:13AM
My point is that they are NOT as accurate as they used to be because not enough people are posting wait times anymore. New people need to know how important it is to the app. - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 11:14AM
@alice I cant wait for you to finally get it set up!! So excited for you! - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 11:14AM
well to each their own..all we can do is try our best. - Minnis2Society 366.4 #394 11:17AM
How bout I just do whatever I want? Thanks - PrinceTeaJack 804.2 #120 11:29AM
I try to update when I'm there but I have a limited data plan so it eats a lot of data when I update and even look at MW when I'm at the park. Once there is the free wifi I will update more but it's hard with my limited data plan... - brodysmommy 246.3 #1063 11:42AM
And 2 small kids in tow also its hard too. I actually try to only look at it web we are at the hotel on the wifi or we need to check times - brodysmommy 246.3 #1063 11:43AM
I started only updating attraction times for the most part in areas where you walk by a lot at once. I figure it still helps and that way I don't annoy whoever I'm with. - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #110 1:16PM
Some of us like and can help, with or without kids, although with kids it is a bit harder than when on my own. But I agree, if we can, we should, at least the ones we are waiting in line for - MarshaMouse 2936.2 #16 1:31PM
Marsha - you are a wait time and picture posting maniac! You amaze me that you can walk and look for a signal and post all at the same time! - PrincessKristin 776.9 #125 2:02PM
When i was in the park, i triedto post wait times on ever ride. After multiple "cant connect" msgs, typing errors (like the triedto that won't allow me to put a space in), and other types if issues, i finally gave up. Depending on carriers, MW can be fickle. If you look at my wait points, they are like NOTHING! But my attempts were numerous. PTJ has obviously contributed in other ways:) - templeclan 54.8 #3714 2:12PM
Since the wait times are so important I think entering them should earn you more points then it currently does - Vegaspooh 118.7 #2808 2:13PM
yay tj! we try to post wait times when we can. we both have iphones 4/verizon & 5/at&t there are definitely dead zones in the park, at least for us. when we walk by or are in line we update. there have been a couple times when we checked times and saw some insane times like 135 minutes for a few attractions that seemed odd, went by to check and corrected them. anywho, i love this app and will continue to use it and encourage others! - OhanaPhoto

I found out my cousin is one that makes insane ridiculous wait times, I lectured him and scolded him badly!! - MarshaMouse 2936.2 #16 1:32PM
@strawberryguy will try! ty! - OhanaPhoto 1578.5 #50 1:42PM
@PrinceTeaJack & Minnis2Society: I totally agree with you! When we go to DL we are there to spend time in an environment where we don't have to comply to any of life's demands that we normally do. After all, we go to DL to build memories ,not MW points! It is fun to enter wait times, and I do it whenever I can, sometimes ill get my kids involved too. If I weren't for my battery I would have lots more points. My kids, and all they want to tell me takes precedence . But...lets focus on the purpose if TJ's post. I thought I was. Great story, and I thank TJ for taking time out if his day to tell us a MW experience he had at the parks today! You both seem like good parents for contributing to MW, but still putting your kids first!😊 - 7mouskedoodles

I'm fortunate to have iPhone 5, and unlimited data service, a Trent and a patient son, so I know I can and that's why I do, but I also know memories and moments are precious with our little ones. I know you put in wait times dear friend, one day we just have to go and have a wait time fun day without the kids - MarshaMouse
