A historic replica ship, used in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies has just about sunk today do to hurricane Sandy. And leaves at least 1-2 crew members still missing. Lets take a min and keeps those in the wake of this storm in our thoughts and prayers as today as it reaches landfall and throughout the, I'm sure long recovery! And please consider donating to the Red Cross relief efforts! The Red Cross says you can text REDCROSS to 90999 to help...

Our highways in Connecticut have been completely shut down. Crazy wind & rain is a lot different than those earthquakes I'm used to!! Thoughts go out to those who have it much worse than me right now! - GrimGrinningAmanda

It's not so bad where I'm at in upstate NY... just a lot of rain and really bad wind (up to 70mph tonight...) but I'm really worried for friends and their families in NYC and NJ. One of my friends just heard that her grandma's house was destroyed.... Please keep everyone in your prayers - KylaShea
